党的二十届三中全会提出“完善区域一体化发展机制，构建跨行政区合作发展新机制”，为区域协同发展指明了方向。2024年12月26日，第一条横贯长三角的高铁线路沪苏湖高铁正式开通，为长三角地区经济、文化和社会交流的进一步融合提供了坚实支撑。作为长三角地理中心，湖州积极贯彻落实长三角一体化发展国家战略，抢抓沪苏湖高铁开通机遇，全面接轨上海“五个中心”建设，加快打造虹桥国际开放枢纽金西翼。
The Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China proposed to “improve the mechanisms for integrated regional development and build new mechanisms for cooperative development across administrative regions”, which has set a clear direction for coordinated regional development. On December 26, 2024, the Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou High-Speed Railway, the first high-speed rail line spanning the Yangtze River Delta from east to west, has been officially inaugurated, providing a solid support for further integration of economic, cultural, and social exchanges in the region. As the geographical center of the Yangtze River Delta, Huzhou actively implements the national strategy of integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, seizing the opportunity of the opening of the Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou High-speed Railway to fully coordinate with the construction of Shanghai’s “Five Centers”, and accelerate the development of the Golden West Wing of the Hongqiao International Open Hub.
