10月22日，上海美国商会会长郑艺出席了由上海市商务委员会及静安区人民政府主办的2024对接进博会投资促进交流会。郑会长回顾了上海美商会参与去年进博会的情况，并介绍了今年的参展计划，同时邀请大家参观由上海美商会与美国农业部共同主办的美国食品与农业馆。与会嘉宾还包括上海市商务委副主任何冬宾、中国国际进口博览局财务总监戈宏、静安区人大常委会副主任林晓珏等，他们分享了第七届进博会的筹备进展，以及上海市政府在促进投资、优化便利措施和推广活动方面的积极努力。此次活动吸引了来自政府部门、企业及其他国家商会的200多位代表参与。

Promotion Conference for the 7th China International Import ExpoOn October 22, AmCham Shanghai President Eric Zheng attended
the 2024 Investment Promotion Conference for the 7th China International Import
Expo, jointly organized by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and
the Jing'an District People's Government. In his speech, Eric provided an
overview of AmCham Shanghai's participation in last year's expo and presented
this year's exhibition plans, inviting attendees to visit the US Food and
Agriculture Pavilion. This year, the pavilion will be hosted by AmCham Shanghai
in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Agriculture.Notable attendees included He Dongbin, Deputy Director of
the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce; Ge Hong, CFO of CIIE Bureau; and
Lin Xiaojue, Deputy Director of the Jing'an District People's Congress Standing
Committee. They shared updates for the upcoming expo and outlined the Shanghai
government's efforts to promote investment and implement measures to optimize
the business environment. The conference drew over 200 representatives from
government agencies, businesses, and international chambers of commerce.![]()
