柯桥用电量首次突破200亿千瓦时
The State Grid Keqiao Electric Power Company recently published its key performance report. In 2024, Keqiao District's total electricity consumption reached 20.665 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh), an 8.96% increase from the previous year. This is the first time the district's annual electricity consumption has exceeded 20 billion kWh, setting a new record and marking Keqiao's shift into a new phase of high-quality economic development.
As a key indicator of economic activity, electricity consumption reflects the vitality of the local economy. From the perspective of industrial structure, in 2024, electricity usage in Keqiao’s secondary and tertiary industries grew by 7.91% and 11.94%, respectively, compared to the previous year. Both sectors saw strong growth, building on an already high base.
作为经济发展的“晴雨表”，用电量是体现经济活动的重要指标。从产业结构看，2024年，柯桥区第二产业、第三产业用电量分别同比增加7.91%、11.94%，均保持较高增长幅度，实现高基数上的高增长。
Manufacturing continues to be the foundation of Keqiao’s economy. Data show that Industrial electricity consumption in the district totaled 16.954 billion kWh, up 8.08% from the previous year. Electricity usage in the textile industry alone reached 10.568 billion kWh, a 5.62% increase. These figures highlight how key industries in Keqiao have capitalized on their strengths in industrial clustering and technology. Emerging sectors such as new materials, biopharmaceuticals, and pan-semiconductors also showed steady growth in high-quality development.
制造业是柯桥立区之本、强区之基。数据显示，柯桥区工业用电量累计达169.54亿千瓦时，同比增长8.08%，纺织业用电量达105.68亿千瓦时，同比增长5.62%，反映出柯桥区重点行业充分发挥了产业集聚优势和技术优势，新材料、生物医药、泛半导体等新兴产业高质量发展蹄疾步稳。
In terms of the distribution of industrial electricity consumption in 2024, 25 out of Keqiao’s 31 major manufacturing industries recorded year-on-year increases in electricity usage. Leading the growth were the computer, communication, and other electronic equipment manufacturing sector (up 113.75%), electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing (up 75.27%), and petroleum, coal, and other fuel processing (up 54.07%). These numbers reflect the region's rapid economic development.
从工业用电量的分布结构来看，2024年，柯桥区31大制造行业中，有25个行业实现用电量同比正增长，其中计算机、通信和其他电子设备制造业，电气机械和器材制造业，石油、煤炭及其他燃料加工业同比上涨幅度位居“前三甲”，分别为113.75%、75.27%、54.07%，释放出区域经济快速发展的积极信号。
Additionally, it advanced feasibility studies and route assessments for the 1,000-kilovolt(kV) ultra-high-voltage alternating current (UHVAC) grid project and supported the power supply for the commissioning of the 110 kV Annan substation, the fourth phase of Binhai Thermal Power, and energy-saving upgrades for Yuandong Thermal Power. Key infrastructure projects, including the 220 kV Jingwei substation and the 110 kV Qianzhong, Xiangqian, and Lanting No. 3 Substations, were also accelerated to ensure a forward-looking power readiness in key areas like the HSDA (Shaoxing Sub-area of Hangzhou-Shaoxing Demonstration Area for the Integrated Development of the Airport-based Economy) and Keqiao Future City, fully meeting growing energy demands.
To establish Keqiao as a model for next-generation power systems at the county level, the company has invested heavily in advanced technologies such as smart grid inspections and “5G+Quantum” solutions. These efforts provide a robust and stable power foundation, driving Keqiao’s rapid development.
For major projects, a "one-on-one leader engagement" and "client manager + project manager" model was implemented to provide full-cycle, integrated services. These efforts supported the development of 16 projects under the provincial initiative of "a thousand projects totaling a trillion yuan", including Xingke Optoelectronics and the Innovation Center of Advanced Textile Technology, ensuring immediate power access upon project commencement. Additionally, through a government-business collaboration, a cost-sharing mechanism for power access projects has been fully implemented, saving businesses approximately 254 million yuan across 19 projects.
