2010年10月24日,哈佛医学院Sam S Yoon(音译,尹善善)团队在Cancer Research 在线发表题为“Differential effects of VEGFR-1 and VEGFR-2 inhibition on tumor metastases based on host organ environment”的研究论文,该研究表明,肝转移比肺转移更依赖于VEGFR-1来介导血管生成,这是由于肝EC与肺EC中VEGFR-1的活性不同。
