德国博主韦玫霖：北京朝阳让我感受到真正的归属感！

我的中文名字叫韦玫霖，我给自己取这个名字是因为我非常喜欢大自然，所以选择了“玫”“霖”这两个字。我经常来奥林匹克森林公园，因为我喜欢这个很大的公园，给人一种仿佛置身大城市之外的感觉。

My Chinese name is Wei Meilin and I have given myself this name because I really like to spend my time in nature, so that's why I chose those two characters. I quite often come to the Olympic Forest Park because I like this place is quite big. You have the feeling as if you would be in like outside of a big city.

我现在站在位于北京朝阳的奥林匹克中心区的奥林匹克塔上，奥林匹克中心区中文又名“双奥园区”，因为这里曾经举办过冬季奥运会和夏季奥运会两场盛事，所以它成为了一个非常特别的地标。奥林匹克森林公园也是亚洲最大的城市绿化景观公园。

I'm now standing on top of the Olympic Tower, which is located in the Olympic Center in Chaoyang District, and in Chinese it's called “Shuang Ao Yuan Qu”, which means double because the ones had the Winter Olympic Games here and the Summer Olympic Games, and that makes it into a very special place. In Asia, it's also the biggest urban greenery landscape park.

如果你来到北京朝阳，一定要去最棒的地方之一，就是亮马河。据说这个名字背后有一个非常有趣的故事，在古代，人们曾在此为皇帝的马洗澡，然后让马在太阳下晾干，“亮”这个字最初用的是表示晾晒马匹的“晾”，但现在他们将第一个字“晾”改为了“漂亮”的“亮”。在这里可以参与各种各样的活动，比如你可以租冲浪板🏄，甚至在河里游泳🏊，当然，这里还有很多餐厅。

If you come to Chaoyang District, this is one of the best places to come to. It's the Liangma River, and the name actually has a very interesting story behind it. In olden times, people brought the horses of the emperor over here to wash them.And then they let the horse dry in the sun afterwards. And the “Liang” was originally the “Liang” for drying the horses, and now they actually turned the first character the ”Liang”—drying the horses, into Piao Liang's “Liang”. It's possible to find a lot of different types of activities over here, so where you can rent surfboards and can go swimming in the river. And of course, there's a lot of restaurants.

这两款蛋糕在德国非常有名，叫做古格霍夫，名字很可爱，但这是我最喜欢的，它和苹果卷相似，味道也和我小时候和祖母一起做的非常相近。

These two cakes are very famous in Germany. They are called Gugelhupf. It's a very cute name, but this one is my favorite.It's similar to apple roll. The taste is very similar to the ones that I made with my grandmother when I was a very little kid.

我之所以一次次回到中国，是因为中国的文化非常丰富，每天都有我前所未见的新体验等待着我去发现，另一个原因，北京朝阳是北京最具国际化的一个区。

The reason why I came back again and again and again to China is because Chinese culture is very rich. Like every day I have the chance to experience something that I did not see before.And also the second reason is that Chaoyang District is the most international district in Beijing.

朝阳区有很多国际公司，也有许多德国企业，例如德国中心。

Chaoyang district has a lot of international companies. And of course, there are also a lot of German companies, for example, the German Center.

德国中心大约有76家德国公司，因为几乎所有的大使馆和众多大型国际公司都位于北京朝阳，这里国际氛围非常浓厚，同时我们也非常享受于朝阳区政府提供的服务。

Around 76 German companies. We have all the embassies here, all the big international companies here. I mean, the international sense is extremely strong over here in Chaoyang District, and we pretty much enjoy the Chaoyang government, the service from them.

在中国生活让我非常开心的一件事，是我能够很容易地与这里的每个人建立起联系，这种温暖让我感受到真正的归属感。通过在网上发布内容，我们可以积极推动文化交流，我对持续这段美好的旅程充满期待！

One of the things that makes me very happy living in China is that I can very easily get in contact with everyone here. The warmth, and this really gives me the feeling that I'm welcome here. Posting things online, we can positively contribute to cultural exchange, so I'm very excited to continue on this journey.
