A woman in Malaysia has turned to social media seeking assistance after discovering that her husband had been profiting from selling naked photos of her online.
According to reports from Malaysia-based Chinese language media outlet China Press, the woman, who is of Chinese ethnicity, revealed that she had been married for four years and has a one-year-old child with her husband. Recently, her husband had quit his job, citing exhaustion, and had been unemployed for the past three months while she continued to work.
About a month ago, she noticed her husband receiving money, which she initially thought came from odd jobs he had taken on. However, her suspicions grew when she accidentally came across his mobile phone and discovered he was engaging with strangers, selling them explicit photos and videos of her that had been taken privately at his request. These images were never meant to be shared with anyone else.
"He denied selling them for profit and quickly deleted the evidence I saw," she recounted. Following this discovery, her husband became increasingly guarded with his phone, taking it everywhere and closely monitoring it.
Instead of confronting him immediately, she chose to gather evidence. During one instance when he was in the shower, she managed to find clues on his phone but was caught before she could capture photographic proof.
When she confronted him about his actions and refused to pose for any more photos, he justified his behavior by claiming it fulfilled his "physiological needs" and denied any intention to sell them. However, he eventually confessed to selling the photos and videos, citing financial need, and refused to delete them despite her pleas.
The woman's plight has sparked a heated debate on social media, with many condemning her husband's actions and urging her to take legal action or divorce him for violating her privacy and trust.
