「王國維和他的時代」學術工作坊
王國維（1877-1927）作為現代中國人文研究的一位劃時代人物，其治學涵蓋古代歷史與經典文獻、中國傳統詩詞、古典白話小説、西方哲學等多個領域；在中、外、新、舊劇烈碰撞的時代，開創了一種獨特且具有示範意義的學術風格，即一方面積極繼承傳統學術、另一方面又積極回應西方哲學所帶來的啓發與衝擊。
本次工作坊邀請數十位海內外著名學者，聚焦王國維及其所處的關鍵歷史時刻，並挑選與王國維這位現代學術巨人在私人關係或生平志趣上都較為接近的人物作為討論對象，如陳寅恪、吳宓、章太炎、沈曾植、張爾田等人，以期在切磋琢磨之間，共同省思現代中國人文研究的學術歷程與未來方向。

Workshop on Wang Guowei and His Times
Wang Guowei (1877-1927), as a pioneering figure in modern Chinese humanities research, covered a wide range of fields in his scholarship, including ancient history and classical literature, traditional Chinese poetry, classical vernacular novels, and Western philosophy. In an era marked by the convergence of Chinese and foreign, as well as old and new ideas, he created his own unique academic style that came to be a role model for many others. This style not only embraced traditional scholarship but also positively responded to the inspiration and impact brought about by Western philosophy.
This workshop invites numerous renowned scholars from both within China and abroad to reflect on Wang Guowei and the critical historical moments he lived through. The focus of the discussion centers on individuals who were closely associated with Wang Guowei, either through personal connections or shared academic pursuits and goals. This includes figures such as Chen Yinke, Wu Mi, Zhang Taiyan, Shen Zengzhi, Zhang Er'tian. The aim of the workshop is to use these reflections as a basis to collectively contemplate on the evolution and future prospect of Chinese humanities.
