Eivind Grøv 院士
Eivind Grøv is Chief Scientist at SINTEF in Norway. Grøv graduated from the Norwegian Institute of Technology in 1983 (NTH) within Geotechnical Engineering. He worked as consultant from 1984-2005 including overseas expatriation and site residence. In 2005 Grøv joined SINTEF and was appointed Adjunct Professor at NTNU in 2009. Grøv has spent his career serving the tunnelling industry covering underground applications for many purposes like oil/gas storage, hydropower, road/railway tunnels and subsea tunnels in rock. His experience includes expert services to a wide range of projects in more than 20 countries.He has been invited lecturer/keynote speaker on several international conferences and authored more than 150 papers. Grøv has supervised/co-supervised many PhD's and MSc-students. He has managed several large and important industry research projects.Grøv has been President of the Norwegian Tunnelling Society and is Honorary Member of the society, he is former President of the Norwegian Tunnelling Network. He was Vice President of ITA concluding a period of 6 years in the Executive Council and is Honorary Affiliate Member of ITA.

Deep Underground Science and Engineering (DUSE), as a new international and fully open access journal ,aims to build a mainstream academic exchange platform focusing on forefront research, and to become a world-class scientific and technological journal.DUSE is currently indexed in prominent databases: ESCI, EI, CNKI, DOAJ and the Scopus database et al.
The DUSE publishes the papers on important theoretical breakthroughs, valuable reviews of state-of-the-art, or discussions on the latest innovative, prospective, and leading achievements in the field of Deep Underground Science and Engineering. Papers on core fundamental research, revolutionary technology development, major engineering construction, special environmental effects, and other important related studies are also solicited.
