是二十四节气中的第三个节气。

所谓“春雷惊百虫”，是指惊蛰时节，春雷始鸣，惊醒蛰伏于地下越冬的蛰虫。

惊蛰，是二十四节气中的第3个节气，这时的太阳到达黄经345°，天气转暖，雨水增多。今年的惊蛰从公历3月5日起，至19日结束。
Awakening of Insects, Jingzhe (惊蛰) in Chinese, is the third solar term and signals a rise in temperature and increased rainfall. It begins when the sun reaches the celestial longitude of 345 degrees, happens on March 5th and ends on March 19th this year.
逃之夭夭/灼灼其华
Peach blossoms are young, scorching their brilliance
惊蛰一到，已是春光灿烂、百鸟归来的景象。而当第一声春雷响起，窗外桃枝上一粒花蕾缓缓绽开。桃花总让人想起少女的笑靥和年少的爱情。怪不得唐伯虎要“酒醒只在花前坐，酒醉还来花下眠”，这年复一年守护着的，是一片大好春光。
As soon as Jingzhe arrives, it is already a scene of brilliant spring scenery and the return of a hundred birds. ·一候桃始华
一候桃始华。万千植物发芽开花，而桃花则是人们欣赏的第一道美景。
The first pentad, peach blooming. （一候桃始华）After Awakening of Insects, all plants are sprouting or blooming, peach blossom is the first scenery to be appreciated.
·二候仓庚鸣
二候仓庚鸣。仓庚就是黄鹂，黄鹂最早感春阳之气，随着黄鹂的鸣叫，动物们开始迁徙。
The second pentad, cang geng singing. （二候仓庚鸣）Cang Geng is oriole, the first to sense the spring Yang qi, and as the oriole sings, everything on the earth gradually recovers, animals begin to migrate.
·三候鹰化为鸠
三候鹰化为鸠。鸠，即今之布谷。古人认为，春天万物复苏，生气蓬勃，故鹰感之而变为鸠。待秋天，鸠再化为鹰，开始又一轮的轮回。
The third pentad, the eagle turning into a turtledove. （三候鹰化为鸠）Turtledove, namely today's cuckoo. In the spring, all things reviving and vigorous, the eagle feels it and turns into a turtledove. In autumn, the turtledoves turn into eagles again.
