龙旦：七彩缤纷的小木屋（中、英文）（五）

多年之后，龙旦陪着安晓琳，再一次来到了十渡景区的那个小木屋。

Many years later, Dan Loong accompanied An Xiaolin and came to that log-cabin in the Shidu scenic area again.

“松阳民宿酒店餐饮聚落”的老板陈见博，在2012年11月8日召开的中共十八大于11月14日闭幕之后，就改行去做文化公司了，因为“中央八项规定”的制定，让依靠公款消费的官员们在表面上不得不收敛了很多。

Chen Jianbo, the owner of ‘Songyang Home-stay Hotel and Catering Settlement’, changed his career to run a cultural company after the 18th National Party Congress convened on November 8, 2012 and closed on November 14. That was because, with the formulation of the ‘Eight Provisions of the Central Committee’, officials who rely on public funds for consumption had to restrain themselves a lot apparently.

这家民宿酒店，后来屡屡有人接手。但是，尽管十渡景区的游客仍是络绎不绝，但每月的盈利总是像老和尚的帽子——平塌塌的，比过去低了很多。

This home-stay hotel was taken over by different people many times after Mr. Chen. However, although tourists were still coming in an endless stream to the Shidu scenic area, the monthly profits were always like an old monk's hat—flat and sagging, much lower than those in the past.

“我想呀，桑天心算是一个很倒霉的倒霉蛋吧？他才贪腐了三千万元人民币，就被立即执行了，”安晓琳问道。

‘Was Sang Tianxin, I think, a terribly unlucky fellow? He was immediately executed after embezzling only 30 million yuan,’ An Xiaolin asked.

“谁说不是呢？贪腐总是与权钱交易和权色交易有着千丝万缕的联系，”龙旦说道，“桑天心是我的发小，邻居，同学。升了官之后，他就开始飘了。所以说，人最难做到的事情，就是自律。但凡不能自律的人，有了钱也守不住，有了老婆、子女还得离婚，有了官位，最后却丢了自己的人身自由，甚至是性命。”

“Who can say that it isn't so? Corruption is always inextricably linked with power-for-money and power-for-sex transactions,” Dan Loong said. “Sang Tianxin was one of my childhood friends, neighbors and classmates. After being promoted, he began to be conceited. So the most difficult thing for people to do is self-discipline. For anyone who cannot be self-disciplined, even if they have a lot of money, they can't hold on to it. Even if they have a wife and children, they still have to get divorced. Even if they have an official position, in the end they will surely lose their personal freedom and even their lives.”

“老爸，我觉得吧，桑厅官的落马，肯定跟冯狗毛有着很大的关系。”

An Xiaolin said, “Dad, thanks to your intelligence, so we finally get the truth. Look at Wang Dalong and Fu Taohua. They gave birth to a son who has an international face. Medically, it is called Down syndrome. There is mental retardation, growth and development disorders, wide eye spacing, and a series of other symptoms. 龙旦说道：“你和冯狗毛的儿子冯君子，是同年同月同日出生的。狗毛想要儿子，所以买通了护士长，把你俩给调了包。后来，我注意到了你们两对夫妇都生下了国际脸，唐氏综合征，我就开始怀疑冯狗毛这个家伙是不是干了什么不可见人的坏事儿。据我所知，近亲结婚并不一定是导致唐氏综合征的直接原因，但近亲结婚肯定会导致孩子出现异常情况，这一点是肯定无疑的。后来，亲子鉴定的结果是，桑厅官一直以为是自己的私生子的王大龙和李二虎，此外还有付桃花，还有你，还有冯狗毛的女婿武二迪，全都是冯狗毛的种。也不能排除还会有其他的人，也会是受害者呀？后来，你现在的老公李海天告诉我说，他的母亲张二萍看到过冯狗毛的一本性爱日记，所以知晓了冯狗毛的一个秘密——那就是趁女人不注意时，给女人下安眠药。简直是不择手段，毫无道德底线呀。两个汉字：迷奸。”

Dan Loong said, “You and Feng Junzi, the son of Feng Goumao, were both born on the same day, in the same month and year. Goumao was eager to have a son, so he bribed the head nurse and switched you two secretly. Later, I noticed that two couples both had given birth to children with Down syndrome. So, I began to suspect whether Feng Goumao had done something unseemly. As far as I know, a consanguineous marriage is not necessarily the direct cause of Down syndrome, but it is certain that a consanguineous marriage may cause abnormal conditions in children. Later, the results of paternity testing were that both Wang Dalong and Li Erhu, who the official Mr. Sang had always thought were his illegitimate children, as well as you, Fu Taohua, and Wu Erdi, the son-in-law of Feng Goumao, are all children of Feng Goumao. It can't be ruled out that there may be some other people who could also be Feng Goumao’s victims. Later, Li Haitian, your current husband, told me that his mother, Zhang Erping, had seen a sexual diary written by Feng Goumao, and thus, I finally learned a secret of Feng Goumao. That is, Oh my God, Feng Goumao used sleeping pills when women were not paying attention. He is always so unscrupulous and has no moral bottom line. In two Chinese characters: drug rape.”

“这个冯狗毛，真地太不是东西了！卑鄙小人！”

龙旦说道：“他这个人吧，还不如阿Q呢。认知能力很低下，智商和文化水平都不行。即便如此，他还尽爱耍一些小聪明。而且呢，他是七寸人，八寸心，小个子却有大野心。他的肉欲很强烈，毫无道德底线。加上他和付桃花的母亲郑美丽一直走得很近，这两个坏人沆瀣一气，狼狈为奸，不知道糟蹋了多少良家妇女。真是可恨呀。”

Dan Loong said, “This little man is not even as good as Ah Q. And his cognitive ability is rather low. His IQ and cultural level are both not good. Even though, he always tries to play some petty tricks. Moreover, he is a person with a short stature but big ambitions. His carnal desires are very strong and he has no moral bottom line. Coupled with the fact that he has always been quite close to Zheng Meili, Fu Taohua's mother, these two villains collude with each other. I don't know how many decent women whom they have ruined. It's really hateful.”

安晓琳叹道：“现在呀，事情糟糕得很。李二虎的母亲黄阿姨，本来是政府部门的打字员，因为未婚先孕，既失去了工作，又无法嫁人。桑厅官以为二虎是自己的私生子，就给了黄阿姨一大笔钱。后来呢，因为感染了COVID19，不仅李二虎在纽约病死了，冯君子也在纽约病死了。王大龙跟付桃花离婚了。最可悲的是黄阿姨，身患绝症，最后给冯狗毛下了毒药，两个人一起下了黄泉。我吧，痛定思痛，从这些事情中悟出了一个道理。”

An Xiaolin sighed and said, “Now things are much worse. Aunt Huang, Li Erhu's mother, was originally a typist in a government department. Because she got pregnant without a marriage, she not only lost her job but also couldn't get married with any man. The official, Mr. Sang, thought that Erhu was his illegitimate son and gave Aunt Huang a large sum of money. Later, because of being infected with COVID-19, not only did Li Erhu die of illness in New York, but Feng Junzi also died in New York. The same reason. Wang Dalong divorced Fu Taohua. The most tragic one was Aunt Huang. Suffering from a terminal illness, she finally poisoned Feng Goumao. The two of them went to the underworld together. As for me, after deep reflection on the tragedy, I have realized a truth from these matters.”

龙旦问道：“你悟出了什么道理？说给我听听。”

Dan Loong asked, “What truth have you realized? Tell it to me.”

“天道有轮回，苍天饶过谁？要想人不知，除非己莫为。”

“Karma has its cycle. Heaven spares no one. If you want others not to know what you have done, you must not do it yourself.”

龙旦说道：“天道有轮回，苍天饶过谁？要想人不知，除非己莫为。琳琳，你说得好，说得好。人呀，就应该一心向善。一心向善，就应该有所不为。你看鲁迅先生的笔下，阿Q就是一个糊涂蛋，愚昧至极。所以，鲁迅先生是‘哀其不幸，怒其不争’。咱们做人，应该有自己的信仰。阿Q就没有自己的信仰。阿Q的后代，也没有自己的信仰。冯狗毛，是这类人的一个代表。我把狗毛的思想和行为称作‘狗毛主义’。狗毛主义，可以说是犬儒主义与虚无主义的结合体，也就是没有信仰，无所敬畏，做人毫无信用，总是出尔反尔，做事没有道德底线，一向都是为所欲为，随心所欲，投机取巧，不考虑后果，最后既害了别人，也害了自己。”

Dan Loong said, “Karma has its cycle. Heaven spares no one. If you want others not to know what you have done, you must not do it yourself. Eileen，you are right. You are quite right. People should be kind-hearted. If one is kind-hearted, there are things one should not do. Look at Lu Xun's works. Ah Q is a complete fool, and he is extremely ignorant. Therefore, Lu Xun ‘pities his misfortune and is angry at his failure to struggle’. As human beings, we should have our own faith. Ah Q has no faith of his own. The descendants of Ah Q also have no faith of their own. Feng Goumao, or Dog Hair, is a representative of such people. I call Goumao's thoughts and behaviors ‘Goumaoism’, or ‘Dog-Hair-ism’. Goumaoism can be said to be a combination of cynicism and nihilism. That is, having no faith, fearing nothing at all, having no credit in being a human being, always going back on one's word, having no moral bottom line in doing any things, always doing whatever one wants, following one's  inclinations, being opportunistic, and not considering the consequences of one’s deeds. In the end, it not only harms others but also harms oneself.”

安晓琳说道：“老爸，有很多西方人指责咱们中国人没有信仰。”

An Xiaolin said, “Dad, many Westerners accuse us Chinese people of having no faith.”

龙旦说道：“谁说咱们中国人没有信仰。我们说的信仰，指的不是任何一种宗教信仰。我们的信仰，就是要实现祖国的统一和领土完整；就是要实现中华民族、中华文明的伟大复兴；就是要坚持改革开放，把中国特色社会主义新阶段建设得更好，早日实现共产主义。”

Dan Loong said, “Who says we Chinese people have no faith? The faith we are talking about does not refer to any kind of religious belief. Our faith is to achieve the reunification and territorial integrity of the motherland; it is to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and Chinese civilization; it is to adhere to reform and opening up, build a better new stage of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and realize communism as soon as possible.”
