Energy 360 is a forward-thinking journal that focuses on disseminating high-quality, transformative research in the energy sector. It is a platform where new ideas from the next generation of energy scholars are not only published but also nurtured.
Understanding the significance of promoting active academic exchange among young scientists, Energy 360 is establishing a dedicated editorial board specifically for early career researchers. This initiative provides an excellent opportunity for young scientists to refine their editorial management skills, offer valuable peer feedback, exchange innovative ideas, and explore potential avenues for collaboration.
Application information
We plan to recruit about 30 members to the Young Editorial Board in 2025.
Eligibility criteria
Early career researchers (Received a doctoral degree within the last 10 years.) with a strong academic track record in energy-related research.

Proficient in academic manuscript composition and publication. Experience in peer review is preferred.
Published research articles in esteemed inter- and multi-disciplinary-field scientific journals as first and/or corresponding author within the past 3 years.
Fluent in English language.
What do we expect from you?
Members of the Young Editorial Board will play a vital role in shaping the journal’s direction. Their responsibilities include:
Serving as an ambassador to promote the journal through academic networks, social media, conferences, and other channels, reviewing manuscripts, recommending submissions from leading interdisciplinary researchers, and providing consultation to editors as needed.
Participating in editorial meetings, contributing to special projects, and supporting the journal's development and improvement.
What will you get?
An official appointment certificate from the Editor-in-Chief of Energy 360.
Articles submitted or recommended by youth members are considered for faster review in Energy 360.
Exceptional youth members will be awarded “Excellent Young Editorial Board Member” and will be elevated to become an Energy 360 editorial board member.
The initial term of service is one year, with potential of renewal for a second term.
