Get Quotes from Moving Companies
Contact several different companies to get quotes for your move.
Create a List of Expenses
These can include the cost of hiring a moving company and purchasing new appliances and furniture for your new home.
Arrange for the cut-off of your utilities and services at your current home and activation at your new home.
Notify necessary parties of your change of address
Schedule time to see friends and family before your move.
Once You Have a Moving Date and Address
Request time off work and set up childcare for your moving date.
Request to book moving elevator and reserve parking for moving truck if needed.
Request transcripts from your kid's current school to be sent to their new school.
