你是否对机器人充满热情,渴望参与机器人领域中的前沿研究?欢迎加入由 Prof. David Hsu(IEEE Fellow)领导的 Adaptive Computing Lab(AdaComp Lab)。
Test of Time Award at RSS’21, Best Systems Paper Award at RSS’17, RoboCup Best Paper Award at IROS’15, 以及 Best Paper Award Finalist at CoRL’22, Best Systems Paper Award Finalist at RSS’19, Best Paper Award Finalist at RSS’18。
我们寻找的对象
该实习计划主要面向本科生(优先考虑大三学生)。我们专注于深层次且具有长远影响力的研究,而不是追求短期成果。因此,我们希望找到对机器人充满热情和好奇心的同学,具体要求包括:
• 具有强烈的自我驱动力,并对解决机器人研究问题充满热情;
• 具备扎实的技术背景,拥有机器人/人工智能/机器学习领域的项目与科研经验;
• 拥有良好的英语沟通与查阅文献能力;

Undergraduate Robotics Research Internships with AdaComp Group, National University of Singapore (NUS)
Are you passionate about robotics and eager to work on cutting-edge challenges in robotics research? If so, join us at AdaComp (adacomp.comp.nus.edu.sg), led by Prof. David Hsu (IEEE Fellow), in the Department of Computer Science at National University of Singapore (NUS).
Who We Are:
The AdaComp group is driving innovative research in robotics. It focuses on solving complex problems in planning and learning under uncertainty and advancing human-robot interaction. Our team, led by Prof. David Hsu, has a strong track record in international robotics conferences and publications.
What We’re Looking For:
We believe that science should be slow. We focus on deep, meaningful research that makes a lasting impact. We value thoroughness, creativity, and the pursuit of long-term advancements in robotics, not just short-term gains. Therefore, we’re seeking enthusiastic and curious minds who:
• are strongly self-motivated and have passions for solving robotics research problems.
• are with strong technical backgrounds, especially in robotics, planning, and machine learning.
• are patient but persistent in dealing with the real challenges of robotics, with a focus on quality over speed.
The internship is intended for undergraduate students (junior year students preferred). The process will keep remote for the first 3 months. If the project progresses to the real-robot testing stage, we will support your physical visit to Singapore with stipend.
Why Join Us?
• Collaborative Environment: Work alongside world-class researchers in planning, and human-robot interaction, contributing to pioneering robotics projects.
• Global Exposure: Gain the opportunity to conduct impactful research and potential publication in top-tier robotics conferences and journals.
• Recommendation letter: The candidates interested in pursuing a PhD at NUS or other top worldwide universities may get the chance to receive recommendation letter to support their PhD applications.
