This article has been retracted at the request of the Editor-in-Chief.
Concern was raised about the reliability of Fig. 2D, Fig. 4C, Fig. 5B, and Fig. 6B. Moreover, within the original data set provided, there seem to be additional images that are in part or totally identical, while representing different samples. Details of the Figures concerned are:
Fig. 2D, Rab23 image seems the same as Rab23 in Fig. 4A, representing different samples.
Fig. 4C, there seem to be a partial overlap between CaoV3 and A2780 images.
Fig. 5B, E-cadherin Blank and N-cadherin Rab23-siRNA images are the same.
Fig. 6B, p-PI3K WBs look very similar.
The journal requested the corresponding author to comment on these concerns. However, the authors were not responsive to the request for comment. The overall validity of the results could not be confirmed. Therefore, the Editor-in-Chief decided to retract the article.
