Brainstory
Brainstory 的音乐是律动的化身，已然成为了一场融合爵士乐的迷幻叙事之旅。乐队深深根植于爵士乐传统，在音乐之中注入轻松、迷幻的怪异元素。这种类型的音乐可能会令人想到 BADBADNOTGOOD 或 Yesterday's New Quintet 的歌曲。“跨流派”乐队越来越普遍，当今的复古灵魂乐风格在很大程度上借鉴了50年代和60年代的 Ralfie Pagan 和 Thee Midniters 等人的音乐， Brainstory 则采用了更饱满和沉稳的声音打造他们的音乐。然而，Brainstory 超越时间性的独特音乐，一方面源自南加州的自然韵律，另一方面离不开三人组对于时代的观察与回应。
Brainstory’s music embodies groove, having become a psychedelic narrative journey infused with jazz. The band is deeply rooted in jazz traditions, blending relaxed, dreamy, and quirky elements into their sound. This style might remind listeners of bands like BADBADNOTGOOD or Yesterday's New Quintet. With genre-crossing bands becoming increasingly common, today’s revival of retro soul music often draws heavily from artists of the '50s and '60s, such as Ralfie Pagan and Thee Midniters. However, Brainstory crafts their music with a richer and more grounded sound. Their unique, timeless quality comes not only from the natural rhythms of Southern California but also from the trio’s observations and responses to the times.

Since their formation, Brainstory quickly drew the attention of audiences, especially in the Los Angeles area, where their fresh, unique sound and the infectious energy of their improvisational performances have captivated a growing fan base. Within the Los Angeles music scene, they frequently collaborate with influential artists like Chicano Batman, Rudy De Anda, and Kimbra. They have also shared the stage with a variety of Western artists, including Helado Negro, Mild High Club, La Luz, Sheila E., and Lady Wray.
As their name expanded, Brainstory gradually gained the admiration of other musicians. In 2018, J. Rocc, one of the world's best DJ known for his turntablist skill and music digging， featured a Brainstory-exclusive mix on his Adventures In Stereo show.

凭借由 Chicano Batman 乐队的 Eduardo Arenas 制作的最新同名“迷你专辑”，他们开辟了一条通往更加前卫和深情音乐的新道路。与 Big Crown Records 签约之后，制作人 Leon Michels 为他们的音乐增添了层次和质感。他们音乐道路的成长与磨练，亦离不开与众多著名音乐人的同台演出。与灵魂乐歌手 Lady Wray 合作巡演便是其中之一。
With their latest self-titled “mini-album”, produced by Eduardo Arenas of Chicano Batman, Brainstory embarked on a new path toward more avant-garde and soulful music. After signing with Big Crown Records, producer Leon Michels brought warmth and texture to their sound. Their growth and musical development have been enriched by performing alongside renowned artists, such as their tour collaboration with soul singer Lady Wray.

此外，Brainstory 也得到了多位传奇乐队的青睐，并参与了他们的巡演。在巴西传奇爵士放克三重奏 Azymuth 的全球巡演中，Brainstory 多次共同登台，为不同文化背景的观众带来演出。
Brainstory also garnered recognition from legendary bands, joining them on tour. They frequently shared the stage during the global tour of Brazilian jazz-funk trio Azymuth, bringing their performances to audiences of diverse cultural backgrounds.

Additionally, Japanese very own“King of Diggin’”- DJ Muro , has promoted Brainstory on social media and invited as opening guests for their Tokyo performances. In the latest episode of TOKYO FM 80.0, DJ Muro presented a Big Crown Records mix in celebration of Brainstory’s show in Shimokitazawa.
