ABSTRACT
There has been a resurgence of interest in the nature of solidarity. But what is solidarity and why is it valuable? In this talk, I will argue that solidarity is a form of joint action grounded in identification. I will then (a) defend the idea that solidarity is not only instrumentally but also non-instrumentally valuable, (b) seek to characterize the character of that value by comparison with other, adjacent values, such as friendship, and (c) answer a number of challenges, including: Is there value in the solidarity of groups organized to pursue wicked ends? In what sense is the value of solidarity irreducibly relational and collective?

近年来，人们重新对团结的本质产生了兴趣。那么，什么是团结，它为什么有价值呢？在本次讲座中，我将论证团结是一种基于认同的联合行动形式。接着，我将（a）捍卫团结不仅具有工具性价值，而且还具有内在价值的观点，（b）通过与其他相邻价值（如友谊）的比较，试图描述团结之价值的特征，以及（c）回答一些挑战性问题，包括：为追求邪恶目的而组织起来的团体之团结是否有价值? 团结之价值在何种意义上是不可简化的关系性和集体性？
