河北科技大学李发堂教授课题组——Constructing interfacial electric field and Zn vacancy modulated ohmic junctions ZnS/NiS for photocatalytic H2 evolution

Ohmic contact hollow VZn-ZnS/NiS nanocages is synthesized using ZIF-8 as a template.

The ohmic contact and Zn vacancies can cause electron rearrangement at the interface.

DFT indicates that charge rearrangement can reduce Gibbs free energy of hydrogen adsorption.

The activity of VZn-ZnS/NiS was 31.9 times higher than that of ZnS, reaching 10,636 μmol h−1 g−1.

Good electrochemical performances are achieved in Li–S cell under low N/P ratio of 4.

MPAF-SEI offers lithiophilic sites to reduce the nucleation overpotential of Li.
