中英双语桥丨普洱学院与老挝琅勃拉邦省教育和体育厅代表团交流座谈

10月18日，老挝琅勃拉邦省教育体育厅厅长苏里德•盖布拉佩一行到普洱学院交流座谈，普洱学院党委书记胡国云出席会议。

On October 18, a delegation led by SOULIDETH KEOBOUALAPHETH, Director of the Department of Education and Sports of Luang Prabang Province, Laos, visited Pu’er University for communication and exchange. Hu Guoyun, Secretary of the Party Committee of Pu’er University, attended the meeting.

胡国云对老挝琅勃拉邦教育体育厅代表团到我校交流访问表示热烈欢迎和衷心感谢。他说，中老两国山水相连，友谊源远流长，中老铁路的开通更是方便了教育部门以及留学生的往来，扩宽了双方的教育合作交流。希望双方进一步深化合作，提高留学生生源质量、数量；开展职业教育合作办学，推动技能产业人才培养；加大中老国际科技合作力度，做到教育、科技、人才协同发展，提升人才培养质量；加强语言文化教学合作，做好教师互派促进双方专业建设发展，共同努力为国家“一带一路”倡议和中老命运共同体建设作出更多更大贡献。

Hu welcomed and thanked the delegation for their visit. He noted that China and Laos share close geographic and historical ties, and the opening of the China-Laos Railway has greatly facilitated exchanges among education authorities and international students, broadening opportunities for educational collaboration. He expressed hope for deeper cooperation between the two sides, aiming to enhance both the quality and quantity of international students, develop joint vocational education programs to support skilled workforce development, strengthen China-Laos international cooperation in science and technology to promote coordinated development in education, science and talent cultivation, and collaborate in language and cultural teaching and faculty exchanges to advance professional development on both sides. Together, he hopes both sides will make significant contributions to the Belt and Road Initiative and the building of a China-Laos community with a shared future.

苏里德•盖布拉佩对普洱学院为琅勃拉邦省提供人才培养表示感谢，并介绍了琅勃拉邦省的大学、中学毕业生情况。他希望普洱学院进一步深化招生宣传，扩大留学生招生数量，拓展教育合作领域，推动中老教育合作长足久远发展。他同时寄语留学生好好学习，提升自我，做到学有所成，将来为琅勃拉邦省的经济社会发展建设服务。

SOULIDETH KEOBOUALAPHETH expressed gratitude to Pu’er University for its contributions to talent development for Luang Prabang Province and provided an overview of graduates from universities and high schools in the province. He hoped that Pu’er University would further strengthen its promotion and enrollment, increase the number of international students, expand areas of educational cooperation, and foster sustainable development in China-Laos educational collaboration. He also encouraged the international students from Luang Prabang Province to study diligently and make meaningful academic progress so that they can better serve the economic and social development of their hometown in the future.

During the meeting, attendees watched a promotional video about Pu’er University, and exchanged ideas on enhancing the university’s international education.

普洱学院相关部门、二级学院负责人，以及琅勃拉邦省留学生参加会议。会后，代表团到中国•老挝经贸文化交流中心调研并座谈。

Heads of relevant departments and schools of Pu’er University, along with international students from Luang Prabang Province, attended the meeting. After the meeting, the delegation visited the China-Laos Economic, Trade and Cultural Exchange Center for further discussions.
