视觉练习和实验是我们创作过程的一部分,也是我们项目解决的关键时刻。运河街市场是一项正在进行的工作,它让我们有机会探索一种只存在于高密度城市中心的文化现象。街头市场的独特之处在于它们反映了一个城市的文化和社会变迁。没有什么比走过色彩纷、商品琳琅满目的过道、闻到奇异的气味、见证摊贩和顾客之间随着时间的推移而建立的个人关系更能达“共存”这个词了。街头市场表达了一种难以抗拒的真实、简单和诚实的迷人本质。


Visual exercises and experimentation are part of our creative process and represent key moments in the resolution of our projects. Canal Street Market is a work in progress that has given us the opportunity to explore a kind of cultural phenomena that is only present in high density urban centres. Street Markets are peculiar in that they reflect a city’s cultural and social changes. Nothing better expresses the term “coexistence” than walking through colorful aisles of mixed wares and curious smells, witnessing the personal relationships built through time between vendors and customers. Street Markets express an attractive essence of authenticity, simplicity and honesty that is difficult to resist.



“从唐人街到苏豪区”的概念概括了该项目的视觉策略:从标志的构造上表达出一种非常亚洲的精髓,但模仿了所有建筑侧面的紧急楼梯,这是整个城市都存在的元素。
The concept, From Chinatown to Soho, summarizes the project's visual strategy: from the construction of the logo that expresses a very Asian essence but emulates the emergency staircases on the sides all of buildings, an element present throughout the city.


市场的多元文化体验贯穿整个品牌,传统唐人街元素在更现代的审美下焕发活力,让人联想到苏荷区。这种结合通过现代美学产生了温暖、怀旧的情感,对当地人很有吸引力,同时也表达了对游客的魅力。
The market’s multicultural experience presents itself throughout the branding by the presence of traditional Chinatown elements revitalized under a more contemporary aesthetic reminiscent of Soho. The combination generates warm, nostalgic sentiments through a modern aesthetic that is attractive to the locals while simultaneously expressing authenticity to charms tourists as well.
