"联通丝路 印象侨乡"东盟文化艺术创作季国际展览交流活动是一项集艺术品展览、艺术品销售、艺术家采风创作、艺术论坛等于一体的综合性国际文化交流活动品牌。活动"引进来"结合"走出去"，以艺术为媒增进海丝沿线国家的深厚情谊和民心相通，同时为海内外艺术家搭建交流借鉴、展示销售、驻留创作、商务合作的平台，在中国打造具有国际影响力的艺术IP。
该活动已于2019年、2021年、2022年、2023年成功举办过四季，已展出来自中国、泰国、菲律宾、印度尼西亚、马来西亚、新加坡、越南、美国、法国、俄罗斯、乌克兰、塞尔维亚、印度、孟加拉等20个国家近300位海内外知名艺术家的近900幅原创作品，众多呈现中国风貌人文与城市更迭的艺术作品，打开了世界看中国的又一扇窗，展现中华文明海纳百川的气韵。海内外300余家媒体平台报道转载活动报道近500篇，在东盟等国家广泛传播。
"Connecting the Silk Road, Impression of Hometown" ASEAN Culture and Art Creation Season (Season V) International Exhibition and Exchange Event is scheduled to open on October 25 at ASEAN Culture & Economic Exchange Center in Xiamen, Fujian, China. We will organize international exchange activities such as opening ceremony, art exhibition, field trips for creative inspiration, the selection and awarding of the Egret Prize, on-site painting, etc. Nearly 200 art works by 161 artists from 16 countries will be exhibited, more than 30 overseas artists will be invited to Xiamen for field trips and exchanges, and some excellent exhibits will be brought to Thailand and Cambodia to carry out related themed activities in December.

"东盟文化经济交流中心"作为中国国际投资贸易洽谈会招商项目，由泰国东盟加六国贸易促进会与厦门市集美区政府共建，于2014年9月正式落户厦门集美。
泰国东盟加六国贸易促进会在泰国曼谷注册成立，在原东盟秘书长素林阁下的倡议下创办，由东盟十国加六国的资深政治家，外交家、工商界、文化艺术界、教育界知名人士、华侨华人等精英联合组成，始终致力于增进政府间友好往来，汇聚创新共识，为推动东盟十国加六国之间的民间经贸、文化、教育等领域的交流与合作发挥积极的桥梁纽带作用。
中心依托总部的广阔资源、秉持"文化搭台、经济唱戏"的产业融合理念，从事国际文化、艺术、经贸交流与招商合作，海外留学与联合人才培养等国际教育项目，促进国际发展合作，成立至今已在海内外成功举办了30多场国际文化、经贸、教育交流活动，打造了"中泰艺术精品联展""东盟文化艺术创作季""厦门-泰国电影展映""厦门-中菲音乐之声""中泰经贸对接会"等多个国际交流活动IP。
中心受厦门市商务局委托承建"厦门市海外投资贸易服务泰国联络点"，受厦门市贸易促进会委托承建"厦门市贸易促进会、厦门国际商会泰国联络处"，受厦门市委人才办委托承建"东盟文化经济泰国海外联络服务站"。
