● 如果使用人工智能工具生成文本(或任何其他作品),必须清楚的标注出来,并添加到参考目录中;
● 应该使用学校规定的引用格式,并且包含给到AI工具的指令及AI生成文本的日期;

● 养成记录存档的习惯,查资料、数据的时候留下痕迹,和老师讨论内容创作、修改的想法等也可以留下过程性的记录,便于证明自己一步步原创的真实性;
● 严格按照IBO的规定,在使用AI工具的内容处做好标识和引用说明;
● 进一步加深、加强对于自己研究的课题或论文主题的理解和认识,理清逻辑和思路,不要让自己处在一个一知半解的状态,即便需要引用AI工具中获得的内容,也不能单纯只是一个东拼西凑的裁缝,而是为你自己原创的脉络去填充部分内容;

The use of carbon taxes to reduce threats to sustainability is a complex but highly effective approach that offers numerous advantages to both industry and the environment. Carbon taxes are taxes imposed on the production, distribution, or consumption of fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and natural gas. The purpose of such taxes is to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide, which are linked to global climate change. Carbon taxes are an effective tool to encourage businesses to reach sustainability targets by reducing their carbon emissions. Carbon taxes can provide an incentive for businesses to become more energy efficient, reduce their reliance on fossil fuels, and invest in renewable energy.
The implementation of a carbon tax is a cost-effective alternative to more direct measures to reduce emissions, such as regulations or subsidies. Carbon taxes provide an economically efficient way to allow market forces to adjust resource allocation and production decisions to reach desired environmental goals. Carbon taxes can also be used to raise public revenues, making them an attractive source of funds for governments.
In terms of sustainability, carbon taxes can be instrumental in motivating industry to reduce emissions at a rate that is both cost effective and equitable. It provides a way to reduce emissions without the heavy burden of large-scale regulations, which can be expensive and complex to administer. Carbon taxes also incentivize more energy efficient production, which can reduce environmental damage. By shifting production away from fossil fuels to renewable sources of energy, carbon taxes can reduce air and water pollution and ultimately lead to improved sustainability.
Carbon taxes also have the potential to reduce inequality. By levying taxes on higher-income households, governments can reinvest those funds into clean energy and public services that benefit low- and middle-income groups. Carbon taxes can also reduce the tax burden for lower-income households, freeing up funds for other uses.
Despite their advantages, there are drawbacks to the use of carbon taxes. Carbon taxes can have a negative impact on certain industries and communities, particularly those that rely on income from the production of fossil fuels. Carbon taxes can also be regressive, disproportionately affecting certain segments of the population. Additionally, depending on how a tax is structured, businesses may pass on the cost of the tax to consumers, resulting in higher energy costs for households and businesses alike.
Though carbon taxes have their benefits and drawbacks, they can be a powerful tool in the global effort to reduce emissions and ensure a more sustainable future. By providing incentives for renewable energy, reducing the tax burden on lower-income households, and promoting energy efficiency, carbon taxes can have a transformative effect on global sustainability. The key lies in finding the right mix of policies to ensure that the cost of emissions is reflected in the price of goods and services. By striking this balance, governments and businesses around the world can take advantage of the significant potential of carbon taxes to reduce threats to sustainability.
对carbon tax的定义明确,对于carbon tax 的用途阐述清晰;
比如,收carbon tax还有很多其他的pros,比如it can raise tax revenue for government, thus, government have more funds to do
other things that are beneficial for the society. For instance, providing a better health care service, etc. 同时,carbon tax还有很多其他的pros,比如,carbon tax makes energy price more predictable; they are easy to design and implement; they can be applied to all users of fossil fuels, etc.
除文章中所提到的cons外,carbon tax还有很多其他的cons,比如,carbon taxes face political pressures to set too low; they cannot target a particular level of caron reduction, etc.
