研讨会简介

   三维辐射传输建模近年来在地表参数反演、物理模型验证、反演算法构建、参数敏感性等方面得到越来越多的关注,逐渐成为植被和城市景观定量遥感研究和应用中主要且必不可少的工具。DART和LESS是目前国际植被辐射传输领域内主要的三维模型,其中,DART模型由法国图卢兹第三大学Jean-Philippe Gastellu-Etchegorry教授始创于1992年,并在2003年获得了专利。他与Yingjie Wang副教授和Nicolas Lauret博士共同带领着CESBIO的10位科学家团队,并与德国波恩大学、突尼斯Sfax数字研究中心、中国香港理工大学和西班牙加泰罗尼亚理工大学合作,共同推进当前的开发工作。LESS模型由北京师范大学、遥感科学国家重点实验室漆建波副教授于2019年创立,并持续主导开发。DART及LESS可实现自然景观和城市景观的卫星、航空和地基观测信号(遥感图像、激光雷达点云等)模拟,光谱范围从可见光覆盖到热红外,已被广泛应用于算法敏感性研究、遥感影像反演、新遥感传感器设计等。每个模型都有其独特性。例如,DART与MARMIT模型(土壤光谱模型)耦合,可以模拟3D辐射平衡、不确定性传播、偏振、大气邻域效应、按场景元素类型和光源类型的图像等。

    为进一步推动三维辐射传输理论与应用的发展,方便科研人员使用三维辐射传输模型,促进多学科交叉融合,遥感科学国家重点实验室拟在2024年8月14日-17日举办“2024年三维辐射传输模型国际暑期学校:第三届LESS模型&第六届DART模型培训班。

    本次培训班不收取注册费,学员交通、用餐及住宿费用自理,欢迎广大青年科技工作者和研究生报名参加。

In recent years, 3D radiative transfer modeling has gained increasing attention in areas such as land surface parameter retrieval, physical model development and validation, parameter sensitivity analysis and space mission preparation and Cal/Val activities. It is becoming a major and essential tool in quantitative remote sensing research and applications on vegetation and urban landscapes. DART and LESS are major 3D models in the remote sensing community. Prof. Jean-Philippe Gastellu-Etchegorry (CESBIO, Toulouse III University, France) initiated DART in 1992 and patented it in 2003. He co-leads present development with Assoc. Prof. Yingjie Wang and Dr Nicolas Lauret in a team of 10 scientists at CESBIO, in collaboration with Bonn University (Germany), Sfax Digital Research Center (Tunisia), Hong Kong Polytechnic University (China), and Catalunya Universitat Politècnica (Spain). LESS was established in 2019 by Assoc. Prof. Jianbo Qi from Beijing Normal University and State Key Laboratory of Remote Sensing Science, and he continues to lead its development. DART and LESS can simulate satellite, airborne, and ground observations (e.g., hyperspectral images and LiDAR signal) of natural and urban areas with topography and atmosphere, from the visible to thermal infrared domain. Each model has specificities. For example, DART is coupled with the MARMIT model (i.e., soil reflectance as a function of water content) and can simulate the 3D radiation budget, uncertainty propagation, polarization, atmospheric adjacency effects, images per type of scene element and light source, etc.

To further promote the development of 3D radiative transfer theory and applications, facilitate the use of 3D radiative transfer models by researchers, and foster inter-disciplinary integration, the State Key Laboratory of Remote Sensing Science will host the International Summer School on 3D Radiative Transfer modelling, focused on the LESS and DART models, August 14-17, 2024. 
There is no registration fee. Participants are responsible for their transportation, meals, and accommodation expenses. Young researchers and graduate students are welcome to register and participate.

本次研讨会将采用专家讲座以及LESS(中文)和DART(英文)模型现场演示培训等方式进行,具体日程及安排内容如下

注意:对于模型的学习,学员需自行准备笔记本电脑,内存最好在16GB以上。DART模型请提前获取免费的DART许可以及用户手册(下载链接:https://dart.omp.eu),LESS模型请在官网提前下载(下载链接:https://lessrt.org/)。

Note: Participants need to come with LESS and DART installed in laptops (at least 16GB memory). LESS download: https://lessrt.org. DART download (code, User Manual, and exercise WP0): apply first for a free DART license at https://dart.omp.eu.
