What is In-Company Consulting Project (ICP)?
Cooperation between the best companies and top business school master’s students on real projects.
emlyon business school place master student teams in "real world" business projects (In-company Consulting Project) that deliver results for our partner organizations.
Teams of multi-culture students from emlyon business school MSc in Management- Grande Ecole, MSc in Global Sales Excellence and MSc in Healthcare Innovation & Data Science programs will apply their collective business knowledge and skills towards a project, ideally addressing open ended questions, for which various approaches can be applied and recommendations made. Students will present their findings to you and provide you with a written report with recommendations.
In the 2025 Summer semester, international students from emlyon france campus will come to shanghai and work ONSITE for ICP project. We’re looking for the company partners for the 2025 Summer ICP. If you’re interested, please contact us NOW.

Working with our students in ICP
The In-Company Project lasts the whole semester (14 weeks) during the 2025 Summer Semester. Each week, we will set one weekday free of courses and thus specifically set aside for work on the project (meetings, documentary research, conducting questionnaires and interviews, brainstorming sessions, etc.) on top of the spare time within the programme schedule. Each team could arrange extra slots for the project if needed.
Each team is composed of international students in MSc in Management- Grande Ecole, MSc in Global Sales Excellence and MSc in Healthcare Innovation & Data Science programs and Chinese students from our partener universities in Shanghai.
The company needs to appoint a corporate mentor to guide and supervise each team. The teams will also benefit from academic mentor, professor from emlyon and pool of experts who will provide the necessary methodological advice as they steer their way through the different stages of this consultancy project.
