In old time, there was a man named Meng Jiao, who loved reading books very much. He wanted to be an officer and took part in the imperial exam many times but failed.
In spring of 706 A.D., Meng Jiao finally passed the imperial exam and his life had changed. He felt very delighted. So, with soft breeze in March, he rode a horse to walk around happily.
故事梗概：
公元706年孟郊考中了进士，这时他已四十六岁了。在此之前，他屡考不中；这次考中了，心里真有说不尽的畅快。唐代进士考试是在秋天，可发榜却在下一年春天。孟郊看了皇榜，他本来穷困潦倒，而这下可以从苦海中被超度出来了，欢乐至极，于是骑了一匹马，到新进士宴集的曲江、杏园去了。他只觉得马的四蹄生风，似乎要在一天之内把长安跑个遍，看个够。
