主讲人介绍

易江博士,中国科学技术大学的物理学学士,美国圣母大学的物理学博士。她曾在洛斯阿拉莫斯国家实验室理论部门从事博士后研究,之后成为该实验室的研究科学家。目前,易江博士是乔治亚州立大学数学与统计学系的弗雷迪·惠普尔教授,同时担任物理学系的兼职教授。她还与埃默里温希普癌症研究所的癌症细胞生物学小组以及埃默里眼科中心保持合作关系。她的研究涉及生物物理学、数学生物学和生物医学等多个领域,近期主要集中在癌症进展、眼科疾病、肝纤维化、细胞迁移及细胞与细胞外基质(ECM)相互作用的建模研究。

Yi Jiang earned her BS and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China and the University of Notre Dame, respectively. She did a postdoctoral fellowship at the Theoretical Division of Los Alamos National Laboratory before becoming a research scientist there. Currently, she is Frady Whipple Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics and an Adjunct Professor of Physics at Georgia State University. She is also affiliated with the Cancer Cell Biology Group at the Emory Winship Cancer Institute and the Emory Eye Center. Her research interests include many areas of biophysics, mathematical biology, and biomedicine, with recent focuses on modeling cancer progression, eye diseases, liver fibrosis, cell migration, and cell-ECM interactions.
