Artificial intelligence is transforming the landscape of medical research and development. The Australian Centre for AI in Medical Innovation (ACAMI) is a$20M initiative of the Victorian Government in partnership with La Trobe University and BioNTech, which is first of its kind in the world. ACAMI aims to revolutionize medical research through AI technologies with a focus on AI for cancer immunotherapy through partnership with industry leaders such as BioNTech and Nvidia. In this seminar, Prof. Xiang will outline ACAIMI's mission and vision to harness AI technologies to enhance cancer treatment outcomes. Our focus includes developing AI-driven solutions for personalized immunotherapy, improving diagnostic precision, and accelerating drug discovery. By fostering interdisciplinary cooperation among researchers, clinicians, and industry, ACAIMI aims to translate AI innovations into clinical practice while upholding ethical standards and patient privacy. The presentation will also explore potential collaborations with the National University of Singapore to jointly advance cancer immunotherapy and improve healthcare across the Asia-Pacific region.
