Back from th' painting house, I find spring's ending again.
The swallows fly in pairs,
Wickers are soft an' peach blooms are almost gone then.
The drizzle fills the sky an' the wind fills the yard when,
Frowning tightly I'm not seen by women and men .
I lean against the rail alone with my mood ill.
The grass is luxuriant,
Th' south bank of th' Yangtze River I recall still.
The heartless wind and moon have changed our looks at will;
Th' past sightseeings like dreams make me heartbroken real.

汉英典籍资深翻译。1977级就读于湖南师范大学外语系，师从著名英语教育家、中文典籍翻译学者赵甄陶先生。本科毕业后即留校在湖南师范大学外语系任教。1984级进入武汉大学外文系英文专业攻读研究生学位，毕业后留校在武汉大学外文系任教。1993年赴美国辛辛那提大学留学，攻读教育学博士学位。毕业后，先后在美国辛辛那提辛康软件公司教育培训部从事教学软件开发工作，并在美国田纳西某学院担任网络管理和教师电教培训工作。
在美国期间，鲁四彬先生因经常应邀参与汉语教学项目，一直对中国古代诗文的英文翻译抱有浓厚的兴趣，特别是在古典诗词的英译方面有着较多的关注和研究。
