孔子，名丘，字仲尼，春秋时期鲁国人，是中国历史上最著名的思想家、教育家和政治家之一。他创立的儒家学派主张仁、义、礼、智、信等核心价值观，强调个人修养、家庭和睦与社会和谐的重要性。他认为，只有具备良好的道德品质，才能实现个人与社会的和谐共存，这一理念至今仍影响着中国及东亚地区的文化传统。

Confucius, named Qiu, styled Zhongni, was born in Lu during the Spring and Autumn Period. He was one of the most famous thinkers, educators and statesmen in Chinese history. The Confucian school he founded advocated core values such as benevolence, justice, propriety, wisdom, and trust, emphasizing the importance of personal cultivation, family harmony, and social harmony. His belief that harmony between the individual and society can only be achieved with good moral character still influences the cultural traditions of China and East Asia.

His main work, The Analects of Confucius, is a classic record of his words, actions and thoughts with his disciples. It covers moral ethics, political philosophy, and educational ideas, and presents a profound philosophy of life through concise dialogue and intelligent fables. This book occupies an important position in the later Confucian classics and becomes an important teaching material for ancient students.
