对外经济贸易大学模拟联合国大会秘书处诚挚地邀请您参与将于 2024年12月6日至12月8日举行的第六届对外经济贸易大学模拟联合国大会！
回望过去的七十余年，贸大与共和国的对外开放事业一同成长，一代代青年人在这里感知世界，也从这里走向世界。一代代贸大人曾在内外交困中艰苦开拓，也在时代浪潮中乘势而上。十四年前，贸大人将模联引入惠园，十四年间，贸大模联人依托学校财经外语的特色，逐渐搭建起自己的学术平台；2024年，对外经济贸易大学模拟联合国协会并入了对外经济贸易大学全球治理人才发展协会，希望在共同努力下建立起一个更加广阔的会议平台。
在历史的长河中，我们站在2024年的岸边，回望过去的波澜壮阔，展望未来的无限可能。正如1993年，国际贸易体系的未来在谈判的僵局中显得扑朔迷离。如今，我们再次站在历史的岔路口，面对着新的挑战与机遇。全球债务重组与投资促进的议题如同时代的号角，召唤着我们共同探讨；环境保护与北极治理的紧迫性，正等待着我们的智慧与行动。在这个充满诗意与挑战的时刻，我们诚挚地邀请您参与这场思想的盛宴。让我们在历史的长河中，以笔为剑，以舌为枪，伸张公理和正义，使和平与发展得以继续。你的每一次舌战群儒，或是提笔落墨都有可能改变这一切。

Dear Teachers and Friends:
Greetings!
The Secretariat of the Model United Nations Conference at University of International Business and Economics cordially invites you to participate in the 6th UIBE Model United Nations Conference, hosted by the Admissions and Employment Office and the Global Governance Talent Development Association of UIBE, which will be held from December 6th to December 8th, 2024.
Looking back on the past seven decades, UIBE has blossomed in harmony with the Republic's journey of opening up to the world, where generations of young people have perceived the world and stepped out into it. Generations of UIBE members have forged ahead through trials and tribulations, crafting their path amidst adversity, and have ridden the waves of the times.Fourteen years ago, UIBE introduced the Model United Nations to Hui Yuan, and over these years, UIBEs’ Model UN community has leveraged the university’s strengths in finance, economics, and foreign languages to gradually build our own academic platform.In 2024, the UIBE Model United Nations Association merged with the Global Governance Talent Development Association, with the hope of establishing a broader conference platform through joint efforts.
Standing on the banks of history in 2024, we reflect on the grandeur of the past and look forward to the infinite possibilities of the future.Just as the future of the international trade system seemed uncertain in the stalemate of negotiations in1990, today we stand at another crossroads of history, facing new challenges and opportunities.The topics of global debt restructuring and investment promotion sound like a clarion call of the times, inviting us to discuss together; the urgency of environmental protection and Arctic governance awaits our wisdom and action.At this poetic and challenging moment,we sincerely invite you to join this feast of ideas.Let us navigate the currents of history, wielding our pens like swords, and our words like arrows of truth, to advocate for justice and peace, and to ensure the continuation of peace and development.Each of your debates or written words has the potential to change everything.
Whether you are well-versed in Model UN activities or new to them; whether you are from Hui Yuan or a friend from afar, we would like to extend our sincere invitation to you once again, hoping to meet you in Beijing, where December's gentle snow whispers softly, and to create an unforgettable memory with you in Hui Yuan.
