On November 7th, 2024, SMSE held Seeing China: Cultural Experience for International Students - Beginning of Winter at Room A308, XuZuyao building. Ms Li & Ms Huang attended.
李春曦为同学们介绍了立冬的起源、意义、习俗，介绍了立冬吃饺子的传统习俗。
Mr. Li introduced the origins, significance, and customs associated with the beginning of Winter, highlighting the traditional practice of eating dumplings.
留学生同学们在认真听取讲解，并就感兴趣的问题进行交流。
International students listened attentively to the presentation and engaged in discussions about topics of interest.

本次活动向留学生同学介绍了中国传统节气——立冬的历史与习俗，带领同学们从饮食的视角看见中国。立冬不仅是一种时间观念，更是一种生活态度。期望同学们在即将到来的冬天身体健康，学业有成！
This activity introduced the history and customs of Beginning of Winter, and led the students to see China from the perspective of food. The beginning of winter is not only a concept of time, but also an attitudetowards life. Wish everyone goodhealth and academic success in the coming winter!
