赛事介绍

Sumi Jo 曹秀美国际声乐比赛以国际著名花腔女高音歌唱家曹秀美命名，由艺术家本人和一支专业的音乐团队精心策划，旨在为青年歌唱家提供展现才华的高端平台，并在全球范围内帮助他们发展歌剧艺术职业生涯。

首届Sumi Jo曹秀美国际声乐比赛将于2024年3月-7月在全球不同国家举行初赛，半决赛及总决赛将在法国卢瓦尔河谷一个氤氲着历史和优雅艺术的法国城堡——安博堡举行。

2024曹秀美国际声乐比赛（中国赛区）将由芬奇文化携手深圳坪山大剧院联合举办。

整个比赛、大师班及音乐会系列活动期间，将迎来世界各地媒体、专业人士和声乐爱好者的热情关注，我们诚邀与您共同度过这段自然、音乐、历史和文化相交织的美好时光。

The Sumi Jo International Singing Competition, named after the globally acclaimed coloratura soprano Sumi Jo, is meticulously organized by the Association des Amis du Château de La Ferté - Imbault, the artist herself and a seasoned music team. It serves as a prestigious platform for aspiring young vocalists to showcase their talents and nurture their opera careers on a global scale.

The inaugural competition takes place from,  March to July 2024. The semi finals and grand finale will grace the historic and elegant Château de La Ferté - Imbault, France.

In China, the 2024 Sumi Jo International Singing Competition will be jointly presented by Vinci Cultura and the Pingshan Theater in Shenzhen.

With media, professionals, and singing enthusiasts worldwide eagerly participating, we extend a warm invitation to share in this exquisite blend of nature, music, history, and culture throughout the competition, masterclasses, and concert series.

*国际总决赛前十二名获奖者将作为曹秀美的特邀嘉宾，在她的一场国际音乐会上与她同台演出。

注：所有奖金均需根据当地国家规定缴税。

€20,000 (Approximately equivalent to 160,000 RMB), Trophy, Certificate.

赛事章程

一、参赛要求

1. 年龄：18-32周岁，1991年11月1日后出生

2. 国籍：不限国籍

3. 声部：不限声部（限美声唱法）

4. 曲目要求：两首不同风格、不同语言的外语咏叹调

Entry Requirements

1. Age: 18-32 years old. Participants must have been born after Nov 1, 1991, and must be at least 18 years old.

2. Nationality: Open to all nationalities.

3. Voice Type: All voice types (Opera Voice) are accepted.

4. Entry Videos: Preparing two opera arias in the original language and memorized, in different styles and languages

二、赛事细则

1.所有参赛者均需通过曹秀美国际声乐比赛官网www.sumijo-isc.com提交视频进行注册报名。

2. 参赛者通过官网注册报名后，方可参与报名中国赛区线下比赛，具体报名方式见下方。

3. 参赛者应在2024年5月15日18:00准时到坪山大剧院报道并与曹秀美老师见面。若选手未按时报到，组委会有权取消其参赛资格。报到时需出示本人的护照或有效身份证件；缺席的选手将视为弃权。

4. 参赛者出场顺序由抽签决定。

5. 所有参赛曲目都用原文、背谱演唱，歌剧咏叹调需用原调（古咏叹调除外），演唱曲目不得重复。

6. 参赛者须携带演唱曲目的乐谱，每首曲目需准备3份曲谱，比赛期间不得更改曲目。

7. 组委会为选手提供钢琴伴奏（费用自理），选手也可自带钢琴伴奏。

8. 比赛评审委员评审团有权在任何时候打断参赛者演唱，对各轮比赛的评定结果为本比赛不可改变的最后决定。

9. 半决赛入围名单将于5月22日在曹秀美国际声乐比赛官网www.sumijo-isc.com、芬奇文化及坪山大剧院公众号公布。

Competition Structure

1.All participants must complete the registration process on the main webpage of the 'French Committee' and must have completed the upload of video materials for online evaluation.

2. Once registered, every applicant can also have the opportunity, to attend live auditions at Shenzhen Pingshan, China, on 16-17 May, 2024.

3. Participants should arrive at Pingshan Theatre on May 15,2024 at 18:00 to report and meet with Master Sumi Jo, if the contestant fails to report on time, the organising committee has the right to disqualify him/her from participating in the competition. Each contestant must bring in order to register for the auditions:Copy of valid passport, 1 HD color artist photo, royalty free, 1 complete and up-to-date CV (training, professional experience, directory) written in English or French, 1 updated biography – 10 lines maximum. Contestants who are absent without valid reasons will be considered forfeiting.

4. The order of appearance of the participants in the offline preliminary round in China will be determined by drawing lots.

5. All the pieces are sung in the original language with the score memorised. Opera arias must be sung in the original key (except for the ancient arias), and the repertoire must not be repeated.

6. Participants must bring the sheet music of the repertoire and prepare 3 copies of each repertoire, and the repertoire may not be changed during the competition.

7. The organising committee will provide piano accompaniment for the contestants.

8. The jury of the competition has the right to interrupt the singing of the contestants at any time, and the results of each round of the competition will be the final and irrevocable decision of the competition.

9. Semi-Finalists of the Competition will be announced in France on 22nd of May.

1.曹秀美国际声乐比赛组委会是唯一有权安排摄影、录音或录像的机构组织。组委会拥有参赛选手比赛时的演唱版权、录音版权及活动期间的所有影像权。组委会有权使用及发布活动相关的影音录像在各媒体平台进行推广及宣传，无需取得参赛者同意;

2.如遇不可抗力因素，赛事组委会有权更改比赛时间表（延迟、中断或取消比赛），时间将提前通告。由此造成的损失组委会不予赔偿;

3.此章程发布后如有变动以组委会最新公布的信息为准；

4.此章程解释权归曹秀美国际声乐比赛组委会所有。

1. The organizing committee of the Sumi Jo International Singing Competition is the sole authority responsible for arranging photography, recording, or filming. The committee holds the performance rights, recording rights, and all image rights of the participants during the competition. The committee has the right to utilize and publish audiovisual recordings related to the event on various media platforms for promotion and publicity without the participants’ consent.

2. In the event of force majeure, the organizing committee reserves the right to modify the competition schedule (delay, interruption, or cancellation of the competition), with prior notice of the changes. The committee will not compensate for any losses incurred due to such circumstances.

3. Any changes made after the publication of this regulation will be based on the latest information announced by the organizing committee.

4. The interpretation of this regulation belongs to the organizing committee of the Sumi Jo International Singing Competition.

Sumi Jo International Singing Masterclass and Concert

世界著名花腔女高音歌唱家曹秀美国际声乐大师班及音乐会属于曹秀美国际声乐比赛中国赛区声乐系列活动的重要组成部分，这将是一场盛大的国际声乐盛宴，届时将有来自全国各地的知名艺术家和年轻才华横溢的学员齐聚一堂，为观众呈现出高品质的音乐演出盛宴。

The Sumi Jo International Singing Masterclass and Concert are integral components of the Sumi Jo International Singing Competition in the China Division. It promises to be a grand international vocal extravaganza, bringing together renowned artists from across the country alongside young, talented participants. Together, they will present a high-quality musical performance feast for the audience to enjoy.

1. International Singing Masterclass:

(1) Date: 18-19 May, 2024

(2) Location: Pingshan Grand Theater, Shenzhen

(3) Official Participants: 20 (Opera performers and outstanding singing instructors)

Observing Participants: Several (singing enthusiasts and professional vocal students)

2. Music Extravaganza:

The concert will feature Sumi Jo alongside specially invited young Chinese vocalists, showcasing solo, duet, and ensemble performances. Sumi Jo will be present throughout the concert, performing alongside the young Chinese vocalists.
