Pokhara-Lakeside

Pokhara is the second largest city in Nepal. It is the starting point for most of the treks in the Annapurna area. It is a very popular location with most people staying around the beautiful Fewa Lake.

Pokhara-World Peace Pagoda

Opened in 1999 atop a hill just south of Phewa Tal, the Stupa is the first Peace Pagoda to be constructed in Nepal and offers great views of the Annapurna Mountains, including Fishtail, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, and Annapurna III. This is a great place to watch the sunrise or sunset over Pokhara. Tushita Nepal Meditation Retreats is just nearby.

Yoga and Meditation

Gompa Classes in the temple

Dhampus & Australia Camp

Dhampus Australian Camp Trek from Pokhara is one of the best short treks from Pokhara with amazing views of verdant hills, snow-capped mountains, and mountain culture. Australian Camp overlooks awesome views of mountains including Annapurna South, Fishtail, Huinchuli, and others.

Take a walk through dense forest to Australian Camp and hike to Dhampus village. A lovely Dhampus village filled with old-fashioned houses with slate roofs charms you. Also, you will get an insight into the rich Gurung culture and lifestyle of Nepalese villages during your Dhampus Australian Camp Trek.

Pokhara-Sanrangkot

Enjoy the view of Lake Phewa, verdant hills and majestic mountains from the vantage point of Sarangkot. Relish on the panoramic view of mountains including Dhaulagiri, Annapurna II, Fishtail, and Lamjung Himal from the hilltop of Sarangkot. Moreover, Sarangkot is famous for its gorgeous sunrises and sunsets.

Pokhara-Resort with view of Himalaya

We will stay one night at the resort on the top of the hill with view of Himalaya, if you are lucky enough, with good weather, you can enjoy the breathtaking view of sunset and sunrise.

Paragliding

Pokhara-Mandala Art Workshop

Mandala, (Sanskrit मण्डल, meaningcircle”) in Hindu and Buddhist Tantrism, a symbolic diagram used in the performance of sacred rites and as an instrument of meditation. The mandala is basically a representation of the universe, a consecrated area that serves as a receptacle for the gods and as a collection point of universal forces. Man (the microcosm), by mentally “entering” the mandala and “proceeding” toward its centre, is by analogy guided through the cosmic processes of disintegration and reintegration.

Pokhara-Pema Dechenling Monastrery

Pokhara-Pema Tsal Monastery

The Pema Tsal Monastery was founded to provide young Tibetan Buddhist monks with all that the ancient traditional monastic and modern education can offer. It stands on the top of the mountain and has a great view of the snow mountains and peaks in distance.

Pokhara-Shiva Statue

Towering against the backdrop of the Annapurna mountain range and overlooking the serene Fewa Lake, this statue is not only an architectural marvel but also a symbol of the significant role Lord Shiva plays in Hinduism and the cultural fabric of Nepal.

Kathmandu-Bodhnath Stupa

Boudhanath stupa is one of the largest stupas in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is a very popular attraction among foreigners and locals alike; every day, hundreds of tourists and pilgrims walk in a clockwise direction around the stupa, under the protective eyes of Buddha.

Kathmandu-Swayambhu Temple

Swayambhunath stupa is the oldest stupa in Kathmandu and one of the oldest religious sites in Nepal. The historic landmark has been a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979.

Swayambhunath, or the Monkey temple as it is often referred to, is located on the top of a hill west of Kathmandu, and consists of a main (huge) stupa surrounded by Hindu and Buddhist temples and monuments of great cultural and historical importance.

Swayambhunath is achingly beautiful and absolutely fascinating. Besides, the site also offers an amazing panoramic view of the capital city. It is definitely a must-see for every traveler landing in Kathmandu.

Kathmandu-Durbar Square

Located just a short walk from Thamel, the popular tourist hub in Kathmandu, Kathmandu Durbar Square, also known as “Basantapur Durbar Square” or “Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square”, is one of the capital’s most visited landmarks. The site has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. Its historical importance, beautiful Newari architecture and lively bazaars make it a fascinating place to visit.

With Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Kathmandu Durbar Square is one of the three Durbar Squares (“Durbar” means palace in Nepali) inside the Kathmandu Valley.

Kathmandu-Thamel

Thamel is a popular tourist district within the capital city of Kathmandu. It's comprised of 5 main streets and many more smaller ones that crisscross the area. For many Thamel is an addictive kaleidoscope of sensory bombardment that will either have you running for your hotel or staying to bask in its frenzy.
