一提到“笑”，
在我们的汉语中，
表达“各种不同的笑”的词语有：
微笑、欢笑、大笑、苦笑、狞笑、狂笑、
嘲笑、取笑、暗笑、耻笑、讥笑、搞笑、逗笑、
自笑、玩笑、真笑、假笑、淫笑、奸笑、嗤笑 。
英语中表达“笑”，虽然没有那么多，
但是也不少，
除了laugh和smile，

Smile是一个概括性的表述，
可以表达各种心情愉悦的笑容。
注意，它只表达面部表情（facial expression），
不包括笑声（vocal expression）。

Laugh也是是个概括性的表述，
但有发出笑声的含义，
