Systems outage: update 系统中断:更新

We are pleased to inform you the majority of UNSW systems, applications and servers are back online following the global IT outage caused by the CrowdStrike event. 

UNSW IT has been working through a large volume of IT Service Centre tickets since Friday, fielding three times the usual volume of calls. Tickets are being addressed in line with our business continuity prioritisation process. 

If you’re experiencing issues and have a laptop, we encourage you to bring it to one of our IT Hubs from Monday – Friday, 8am – 6pm. To help with the demand, an extra IT Hub has been temporarily set up this week on Level 2, UNSW Library on Kensington campus, in rooms 208 and 209. It’s our largest Hub and opening hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.

The University remains cyber-secure, however we ask you to be alert for any phishing scams during this period. UNSW or any related provider would never contact you to share credentials or send links to reset passwords.
