Thank you for choosing Guangxi Normal University. The notice is to help you better understand the registration, payment, courses, etc. in advance.
Q:我什么时候到校报到注册比较合适？
When is the best time to register?
A:广西师范大学国际学生新生请按照录取通知书上规定的时间到校报到注册。超过规定的时间不报到注册，视为自动放弃学习。
International freshmen of Guangxi Normal University should register at the time specified in the admission notice. If you do not register after the specified time, you will be deemed to have given up the study automatically.
Q:学校有安排免费接机或接车服务吗？
Does the University provide free pick-up service?
A:有，但需要至少提前一天把你的具体抵达信息通过电子邮件（studentaffairs@mailbox.gxnu.edu.cn）告知学校老师。
Yes, but you need to inform our teachers of your arrival details by email (studentaffairs@mailbox.gxnu.edu.cn) at least one day in advance.
Q:当我自行抵达桂林后，应该怎么去学校？
How can I get to the campus when I arrive at Guilin?
A:抵达桂林的机场或火车站后，你可以乘坐出租车前往学校，只需告诉司机你的目的地是“广西师范大学育才校区国际教育交流中心”即可。可点击以下地图查看位置。
After arriving at the airport or train station, you can take a taxi to the school. Just tell the driver that your destination is “International Education Center, Yucai Campus of Guangxi Normal University”. You can click on the map below to view the location.
Q:如何进出校门？
How can I get in and out of the campus?
A:校门口安装了人脸识别系统，在没有完成图像采集前，可凭录取通知书进出校门，也可通过微信关注“广西师大微服务”，在“管理应用”点击“访客管理”进行预约。
You can get in and out of the campus by showing your admission notice to the security guards temporarily before using the face scan. Or you can make an appointment to use the face scan temporarily in “广西师大微服务” on WeChat.
Q:我到达学校后，去哪里报到注册？报到注册时需要提供哪些材料？
Where can I register when I get to the university? What materials are needed for registration?
A:9月3日-5日可在学校育才校区国际教育交流中心1号楼一楼大厅“一站式”报到注册服务站报到注册。其他上班时间，可到育才校区国际教育交流中心2号楼213办公室办理报到注册手续。报到时，请提供护照、两寸或小二寸彩色照片6张、录取通知书等材料。
From Sept. 3 to 5, there will be one-stop registration service on the 1st floor of International Education Center 1, Yucai campus. If you can’t register in this time, you can come to office 213 of International Education Center 2, Yucai campus to finish registration. You need to provide passport, 6 photos (3.5x5 cm or 4.8x3.3 cm), admission notice, etc.
Q:请问我在哪里可以办理手机SIM卡和银行卡？
Where can I apply for the SIM card and bank card?
A:可凭护照到育才校区东苑“中国联通”营业厅办理手机SIM卡，也可以选择校外的“中国移动”或“中国电信”网点办理；国际学生办理好居留许可学习签证后，可到中国银行桂林高新科技支行办理。
You can apply for a SIM card in the office of China Union on Yucai campus, or you can go to the outside of the campus to apply for a SIM card of China Mobile or China Telecom. You can apply for a bank card at the Science and Technology Sub-Branch of Bank of China in Guilin High-Tech Industrial Development Zone after you get the resident permit.
Q:如何支付宿舍水费和电费？
How can I pay for hot water and electricity?
A:育才校区国际学生可通过微信添加“IECMS智慧能源”进行水电费充值（详细操作方法请点击以下链接：http://pay.czrxdzonline.cn/wxms/pages/repair/repair）
雁山校区电费充值办法和育才校区一样，热水卡充值是在桃园餐厅一楼的饭卡充值点充值。
For Yucai campus: You need to follow “IECMS智慧能源” on WeChat to make the payment. (as detailed in the URL: http://pay.czrxdzonline.cn/wxms/pages/repair/repair)
For Yanshan campus: The payment for electricity is the same as Yucai campus. You can recharge the hot water card in the meal card recharging office on the first floor of Taoyuan cafeteria.

Q:我在校园内哪里可以用餐？是用现金还是饭卡？
Where can I dine on campus? By cash or meal card?
A:学校每个校区均有餐厅，如育才校区的东苑餐厅、西苑餐厅、长胜园餐厅等。可用饭卡或“云闪付”APP支付，在东苑或西苑食堂一楼充值点办卡和充值。
There are cafeterias on every campus, such as Dongyuan cafeteria, Xiyuan cafeteria and Changshengyuan cafeteria, etc. You can pay for the meal by meal card or “云闪付” APP. You can apply for and recharge your meal card in the meal card recharging office on the first floor of Dongyuan cafeteria or Xiyuan cafeteria.
Q:我可否在校园里面购买生活用品和其他东西？
Can I buy daily supplies and groceries on campus?
A:可以，每个校区内均有超市、小卖部、文具店、咖啡店、奶茶店、文印店等。
Yes, there are supermarkets, canteens, stationery stores, coffee houses, milk tea shops, printing stores, etc on every campus.
Q:我可否在校园内邮寄和收取包裹？
Can I deliver and receive packages on campus?
A:可以，每个校区均有多个快递店。
Yes, there are several express stores on every campus.
Q:校园内有ATM吗？
Is there ATM on campus?
A:有，如中国银行、中国工商银行等ATM。
Yes, there are ATMs from BOC, ICBC, etc.
Q:请问什么时候开始上课？
When will the class start?
A:所有老生9月2日正式上课；国际文化教育学院新生9月9日正式上课；其他学院新生在9月7日前除了提供HSK4级证书复印件，还需参加相关学院（部）的面试，面试通过后方可进入专业学习。具体面试时间、方式和上课事宜由所在学院（部）安排。
Senior students will have class on September 2. Freshmen of CICE will have class on September 9; freshmen of other schools need to provide HSK4 certificate before September 7, and pass the entrance interview so as to obtain the study qualification. Details about the interview time and method, and class will be arranged by specific schools.
Q:我是全额奖学金生，如何获得生活费?
I am a full scholarship student, how can I get the allowance?
A:奖学金生报到注册并通过奖学金资格复查，办理好中国银行卡后，由国际学生管理科相关负责项目负责的老师给学生逐月发放生活费。
You need to register on time, pass the scholarship qualification review and have already had a Bank of China card to get the allowance monthly from relevant teachers of International Students Office.
Q:我到校后，是否需要重新体检？
Do I need to do the physical examination again after getting to the university?
A:持X2短期学习签证的学生，无需再体检；持X1签证入境的学生，需要在桂林当地体检，体检合格后，方可在我校学习。
For X2 visa students, you don’t need to do it again; for X1 visa students, you need to do the physical examination again in Guilin, and pass it so that you can study in our university.
Q:我持X1签证入境，怎么办理居留许可签证？
If I am a X1 visa student, how can I apply for a residence permit?
A:持X1签证入境的新生，入境后一个月内签证有效，学生须在签证到期前15天，准备好相关材料，到育才校区国际教育交流中心2号楼213办理签证手续。
You are required to prepare relevant documents and come to Office 213, International Education Center 2 to apply for a residence permit.
Q:我在校园内可以骑摩托车、电动车吗？
Can I ride motorcycles or e-bikes on campus?
A:不可以。根据学校规定，学生在校园内一律不准骑摩托车、电动车。
No. According to the regulations of the university, all students are prohibited ride motorcycles or e-bikes on campus.
