作为房子一般表示独栋的那种

2. apartment
城市里更常见的商品房、公寓房
I bought an apartment in Shanghai.
我在上海买了个房子。
3. condo/'kɑndo/
和apartment 很像,
一般来说会相对小一点
I own a condo in the downtown area.
我在市中心有一个公寓。
downtown area 闹市区/市中心
4. villa /'vɪlə/
比较豪华型的房子，别墅
I don't think we can afford this villa.
我觉得我们承担不起这个房子（别墅）。
