On 2 July, ZF Asia-Pacific Supplier Day successfully took place in Anting, Shanghai. Stephan von Schuckmann, Board Member of the ZF Group, Renee Wang, Executive Vice President, President of China and Operation Asia-Pacific, ZF Group, Matthias Lang, Vice President Material Management Asia-Pacific, ZF Group, as well as division and domain heads of ZF Asia-Pacific, had extensive discussions with over 200 supplier partners from the region, to discuss current challenges and future opportunities in the automotive industry.  Local government leaders attended the event.

During the event, each party had extensive and open discussions on topics including industry megatrends, technological innovations, cost control, and future cooperation. All parties reached a consensus that under the complex and volatile market environment, the only way to meet the challenges and seize opportunities is to deepen the cooperation and build system capabilities together.

Division leaders of ZF Asia-Pacific also shared their insights on chassis solutions, e-mobility, commercial vehicle solutions, and electronics and advanced driver assistance systems, highlighting ZF’s deep technological expertise and forward-looking plans. They confirmed that close cooperation with suppliers is crucial for accelerating technological innovation, improving product quality and market agility, and jointly addressing the challenges of the industry.
