Waymo will Begin Testing Its Robotaxis in Tokyo, Japan in 2025
据外媒报道，12月16日，Alphabet旗下的自动驾驶子公司Waymo宣布，将于2025年初在日本东京开始测试其自动驾驶汽车。
According to foreign media reports, on December 16, Alphabet-owned Waymo announced that it will start testing its autonomous vehicles in Tokyo in early 2025.
报道称，Waymo尚未承诺在东京开展商业服务，但Waymo将与日本最大的出租车运营商日本交通（Nihon Kotsu）和出租车应用软件GO合作，开始在东京街道上测试捷豹I-PACE自动驾驶汽车。
Waymo hasn’t committed to start commercial service in Tokyo yet, but the robotaxi developer will partner with Japan’s largest taxi operator, Nihon Kotsu, and taxi app GO to start testing its Jaguar I-PACE vehicles in Tokyo’s streets.

ING Says Cocoa Prices were likely to Remain Volatile through Next Year
According to foreign media reports, the price of cocoa, a key ingredient in chocolate has skyrocketed this year, prompting analysts to issue fresh warnings about extreme price volatility.

Strategists at Dutch bank ING said persistent tightness in cocoa and coffee markets, coupled with weather uncertainty, meant that prices were likely to remain volatile through next year.

Cocoa futures for March delivery in New York traded 1% higher at $11,938 per metric ton at around 7:10 a.m. ET on Dec. 17, notching yet another record high. The futures price is up over 180% year-to-date.
