入境支付友好!苏州自贸片区首创境外来华人员移动支付工具“Su-Pay”2.0焕新升级。
Su-Pay, a payment tool launched by the Bank of Suzhou, has been upgraded recently. Exclusively for visitors from Japan and South Korea before, it is now accessible to all short-term inbound travelers regardless of nationality. The upgrade marks the first solution by the Suzhou Area of China (Jiangsu) Pilot Free Trade Zone and the Bank of Suzhou based on the electronic wallet to enhance payment convenience for short-term visitors to China.
Without downloading an app, short-term inbound travelers can scan a QR code to apply for Su-Pay. After topping up their account with overseas credit cards or debit cards, they can use the dynamic QR code generated to complete payment. The account can also be linked to UnionPay, WeChat Pay, and Alipay.
Compared with the payment services for inbound travelers provided by Alipay and WeChat, Su-Pay has the following advantages:
Inbound travelers are able to open a Category-II electronic account with both Chinese and overseas mobile phone number.
Inbound travelers can use the QR code generated to pay, or link their account to UnionPay, WeChat Pay, and Alipay for both offline and online shopping.
Based on renminbi bank settlement account system, Su-Pay fully guarantees the security of consumers' personal fund.
