Furong Town
Also known as Hibiscus Town has more than 2000 years of history. The town is well known for its scenic location, situated on cliffs above a waterfall that falls into the You River. It is more peaceful compared with Fenghuang being stuffed with tourists. The town itself is very small and picturesque. There are strange karst mountains surrounding ancient style buildings, and stone paved roads. It is inhabited by a group of Miao people.

Bailong Elevator is the highest and fastest outdoor elevator in the world, riding up 326 meters under 2 minutes. The views from the ride is quite spectacular.
Are you brave enough to walk on the famous glass skywalk?
Hike in the Yuanjiajie - Avatar floating mountain! The peaks in Yuanjiajie are nearly at the same height, which makes it a mountain platform great for enjoying sweeping vistas.
Take the longest cable car which is 7.5 KM! Hike the magical Tianmen (Gate to Heaven) mountain! Standing at 1,500 meters above sea level, Tianmen Mountain is often regarded as the "Soul of Zhangjiajie".

Accommodation: 5 star Pullman hotel
Luxurious 5 star hotel within the famous Wulingyuan Scenic Area. The hotel provides buffet breakfast and a seasonal swimming pool.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1:
Morning flight/train to Zhangjiajie, at 12:00 pick-up from Zhangjiajie airport/railway station, we will drive to explore the iconic Furong town. Check-in guesthouse, enjoy the night view.
Stay in Furong town guesthouse
Day 2:
After breakfast check out and transfer to Morong Miao village. We will walk around and experience Miao ethnic's life and if we are lukcy we can see how they produce beautiful silver ornaments.
In the afternoon transfer to Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan. Our guide will recommend some great local Hunan restaraunt for everyone!
Day 3:
After breakfast we will go to the Grand canyon, a natural wonderland incorporating mountains, streams, caves, cliffs and forest. Take a boat to enjoy magnificent scenery. Afterwards comes the highlight of the trip: walk on the longest and highest glass bridge!
Day 4:
Today we will explore the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Take Bailong Sky Elevator up to the top of the mountain! Explore “AVATAR” hallelujah mountains and the natural bridge. Here you can see a lot of wild monkies. Visit 10 miles gallery, a 5.8 km long valley with impressive views of karst peaks.
Tips: You can enjoy the night show of "Charming Western Hunan" at night after you finish today's visiting.
Day 5:
Check out from the hotel and transfer to Tianmen Mountain. Take world's longest cable car to the top of the mountain. Walk around and explore, if we are lucky we can see the sea of cloud! Walk through the picturesque Tianmen Cave. At 18:00 transfer to Zhangjiajie airport/train station, safe back home, see you next time!
