Course Withdrawal Arrangements for the Fall 2024-2025 Semester
Course Drop I (First Phase):
October 14, 2024 (Monday) 8:00 - October 18, 2024 (Friday) 16:00
Except for undergraduate physical education courses and courses given by Beijing Foreign Studies University, all other courses are eligible for withdrawal.
Students cannot drop: PE courses / Courses offered by Beijing Foreign Studies University.
The dropped course (except for courses starting from or after the 9th academic week) will be marked with "W" (Withdrew) on the transcript.
Course Drop II (Second Phase, for courses starting in the last eight weeks):
November 11, 2024 (Monday) 8:00 - November 15, 2024 (Friday) 16:00
Only courses that start in the last eight weeks are eligible for withdrawal; all other courses are not.
Students can only drop: Courses starting from or after the 9th week.
The dropped course will not have the notation of "W" (Withdrew).
Special Instructions:
Course withdrawal is conducted online only; no other forms of withdrawal are accepted after the online withdrawal period ends.
Courses withdrawn during the withdrawal period will have a "W" (Withdrew) recorded on the transcript; courses withdrawn from courses starting in the last eight weeks will not have a "W" recorded.
The maintenance of individual graduate training plans is not open during the withdrawal period. Courses with a "W" (Withdrew) recorded on the transcript cannot be removed from the individual training plan, but they do not affect graduation.

Bach's Six Suites for Solo Cello Concert
Born into a musical family, Bai Ming studied in the United States with full scholarships at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and the University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music, becoming a member of the William Primrose Studio and studying under the renowned viola player Donald McInnes. His teaching and performance album "Chinese Works for Viola" was included in the compilation "Classic Chinese Orchestral Music". Bai Ming, together with pianist Wang Chao, formed the 4+88 duo, presenting a special concert of Hindemith's viola works, and founded the "East-West-North-South" viola quartet, serving as the music director for the Italian ICMC Chamber Music Festival. In 2023, he recorded and published "Bach's Six Unaccompanied Cello Suites" arranged for viola, and in 2024, he gave a special concert at Peking University, receiving high praise.

2024 BRICS Development Bank Job Fair: Mission and Operations
The "Ten Lectures on International Organizations" series provides a systematic introduction and analysis of the roles and functions of international organizations in major global issues. As an introductory guide to international organizations, it is open to all students at Tsinghua University. On November 14th, the sixth lecture of the series - "The 2024 BRICS New Development Bank Recruitment Fair: Mission and Operations" - was held as scheduled.
