The Opening Ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Games is scheduled to take place on Friday.
据亚冬会组委会大型活动部副部长、新闻发言人周巍介绍，“开幕式计划总时长约80分钟，其中仪式部分约50分钟，文艺表演、点火仪式及主题歌演唱约30分钟”。
According to Zhou Wei, deputy director of the committee's ceremonies and events department, the total planned duration of the opening ceremony is about 80 minutes.
此次开幕式将有哪些看点呢？
As the excitement builds, here are several things that are bound to capture your attention.
开幕式文艺演出的主题是“冰雪同梦，亚洲同心”（Dream of Winter Love among Asia）。

整体结构上，围绕“哈尔滨、中国、亚洲”的地域递进层次进行设计：
上篇立于冰城，讲述冰雪文化的精神力量与梦想情怀； 中篇立于中国，讲述冰雪运动的燃情时速与全民热潮； 下篇立于亚洲，讲述冰雪同梦的情感联结与携手同行。
创意点火仪式
关于观众们非常期待的点火仪式，周巍信心满满地表示：“极具创意和特色的点火仪式，必将惊艳世界”。
"Particularly, the highly creative and distinctive torch lighting ceremony is expected to astonish the world," he said.

当有媒体记者问到点燃主火炬的火炬手是否确定时，周巍回应说：“点火仪式一直是历届赛会开幕式的重中之重，而且大家都非常关注。最后一刻我们才能揭晓。”
开幕式的另一大亮点是主分会场相结合。
本次开幕式主会场设在哈尔滨国际会展体育中心，分会场设在举世闻名的冰雪主题乐园——哈尔滨冰雪大世界。

In a creative approach, the opening ceremony combines the main venue with a secondary venue - the main venue is set at the Harbin International Convention and Exhibition Sports Center, while the secondary venue is located at the renowned Harbin Ice and Snow World, the largest ice and snow theme park in the world.
“今年的哈尔滨冰雪大世界特别设计了由亚洲国家/地区代表性建筑组成的主题冰雪乐园，与主会场表演同屏联动，引动亚洲人民共情共鸣。”周巍说。
"This winter, the Harbin Ice and Snow World has specially designed a themed ice and snow park featuring representative buildings from Asian countries and regions, which will be synchronized with the performances at the main venue to evoke empathy and resonance among the people of Asia," Zhou introduced.
先进技术手段
开幕式文艺演出还充分运用了先进的技术手段，打造全景沉浸式的观影体验。
虚拟增强现实、裸眼3D、数字AI等科技手段和视觉特效，结合立面屏幕、数字地屏、光艺投影纱幕等设备，打造出虚实相映的视觉效果。
Furthermore, the cultural performances at the opening ceremony make full use of advanced technological means to create a visually stunning experience, such as virtual and augmented reality, glasses-free 3D technology, digital AI, and other visual effects.
赛事共设置6个大项、11个分项和64个小项，共产生64枚金牌。其中冰上赛事在哈尔滨赛区举行，雪上赛事在亚布力赛区举行。日前，冰球和冰壶项目的比赛已分别于3日和4日拉开战幕。
The Games, scheduled from Feb 7 to 14, will feature six sports, 11 disciplines and 64 events. The ice events will be held in Harbin, using the existing venues from the 1996 Asian Winter Games, while the snow events will be in Yabuli, 193 km from Harbin.
