Talk abstract
Chemoproteomic methods evolved as essential tools to study the mode of action of small molecules. Chemoproteomic affinity matrices use immobilised small molecules to capture target proteins from complex native cell lysates, and have proven beneficial throughout different stages of the drug discovery workflow. In this webinar, we will i) showcase a typical compound profiling workflow, ii) discuss the pros and cons of this approach in comparison to other chemoproteomic methods, and iii) highlight some examples on successful implementation in a drug discovery workflow.化学蛋白质组学方法已发展成为研究小分子作用机制的重要工具，其中化学蛋白质组学亲和矩阵通过固定小分子来从复杂的天然细胞裂解物中捕获靶蛋白，在药物发现各个阶段中都表现出了显著的优势。在本次网络研讨会中，我们将展示：i) 典型的化合物分析工作流程，ii) 讨论这种方法与其他化学蛋白质组学方法相比的优缺点，以及 iii) 介绍一些成功应用于药物发现工作流程的实例。

Dr. Stephanie Wilhelm is a distinguished scientist currently leading the group focused on "Chemical Proteomics of Small Molecule Degraders" at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). She earned her doctorate summa cum laude in 2017 under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Bernhard Küster and Dr. Guillaume Medard, with her research centered on drug discovery targeting EPHA2 inhibitors. Her career highlights include serving as the head of the Bavarian Biomolecular Mass Spectrometry Center and holding a substitute professorship for Prof. Küster. Dr. Wilhelm has also made significant contributions to several scientific committees and is actively engaged in teaching and mentoring. She is an accomplished researcher with numerous publications in prestigious journals and has received several academic distinctions, including the 2018 PhD award from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Proteomforschung.Stephanie Wilhelm 博士现为德国慕尼黑工业大学（TUM）“小分子降解剂化学蛋白质组学” 研究组的负责人。她于2017年以优异成绩获得博士学位，导师为 Bernhard Küster 教授和 Guillaume Medard 博士，她的研究专注于针对EPHA2抑制剂的药物发现。她的职业生涯亮点包括担任巴伐利亚生物分子质谱中心主任，以及替代Küster教授担任TUM的代理教授。Wilhelm博士还积极参与多个科学委员会，并在教学和指导学生方面做出了重要贡献。她是一位成就卓著的研究人员，发表了多篇在著名期刊上的论文，并获得了多项学术荣誉，包括2018年由德国蛋白质组研究学会颁发的博士奖。
