Mid-autumn Festival
中秋佳节，皓月凌空，银辉轻洒，思念绵绵。我们借一缕月华作笔，以无垠星河为卷，倾注心间深情，向亲人传达内心的思念。 无论身处何方，都能在此时感受到家人的温暖与牵绊，此时思念有声，让我们一起聆听，教师与同学对中秋的感悟。

There are times that I feel homesick, usually during the winter months I miss home. However, throughout the year I spend my time with my friends here in China and really feel homesick. Oddly enough, when I’m back home I find myself missing here. I love my family and love spending time with them, so I don’t know why after three weeks back homes I can’t wait to come back. I wish that maybe they could live here with me, so I get the best of both worlds. My grandfather could always tell, he would ask, “Are you anxious to get back?” I would answer the same, “I do love being here, but all miss going back.”

Though we come from different parts of the world, there is something deeply human that unites us all—our shared celebration of harvest festivals. Whether it’s the Mooncake Festival in China, Makar Sankranti in India, Thanksgiving in Britain, or Mehrgan in Iran, we each express gratitude to mother earth in our own unique ways.
2023 marked my first year in China, and I was truly impressed by the vibrant cultural displays, the delicious mooncakes, and the glowing lanterns. While some of us are fortunate enough to celebrate with family, enjoying mooncakes and shared moments, many of us couldn’t return home this year as we continue working hard toward a brighter future. I understand how hard it is to miss our loved ones, but let us not forget that these university years will become some of the most cherished memories of our lives, be it as a student or a teacher. And although we may long for home now, the friendships we will create here will become a family we will hold dear for a long time to come.
Wishing all students and staff a very happy Mid-Autumn Festival 2024!

当热烈的盛夏落幕，当天气从傍晚开始渐凉，长安就渐入了秋。
秋天是倒放的春天，一切由寂静发生，最后又在秋天归于寂静，这喧闹过后的宁静却是我心里是一年最好的时光。一个人在秋风中漫步，心也变得柔软起来，回忆里那些往事，却又模糊成一片，融化在故乡颍州的秋栾中，清河里……所谓思乡，终究还是感物怀人赋予地理含义后的另一种说法罢了。
抬头东望，月亮已经圆了。

月到中秋分外明，人到佳节倍思亲。在这个充满温情的节日里，让我们共同祈愿，愿所有的家庭都能团圆美满，所有的梦想都能如愿以偿。中秋快乐，愿我们的每一天都如这中秋的月亮，明亮而圆满。

中秋节是我国的传统节日之一。这一天，人们欢聚一堂，品尝美味的月饼，仰望那一轮明月，寄托着对亲人的思念与美好祝愿。月光洒下，照亮了团圆的欢乐，也照亮了人们心中的温情。

秋夜微露、桂花风起，时光辗转、又是月，邀三两好友，追忆过往畅谈未来，每一缕月光都带来一寸欢喜，抑或独品月夜滋味，在思考中徜徉，每一寸月光都带来一份想象。

明月几时有？把酒问青天。又逢八月十五，月圆如镜，清辉照耀大地，也映照着世间离人心中的思念。无论天涯海角，心随明月，共此婵娟。中秋，不仅是月圆人聚的节日，更是一场跨越时空的情感共鸣。
明月中秋夜，情满人世间。愿今晚之月，能承载大家的深情，穿越千山万水，送至所念之人的心间。
