2024 Lincoln Summer School
Through 14-days study tour in the UK, we all enjoyed and immersed ourselves in British life and culture. We not only participated in various experimental courses and practical visits, but also promoted friendships between our classmates and teachers through dormitory group living, cultivating and enhancing our life skills. In the school's courses, we mainly participated in various experimental classes, including basic chemical reaction experiments, and so on. We mastered many new operation methods and experimental instruments use. Under the arrangement of the school, we participated in the welcome party held by the visiting study team from Texas A&M University and their report presentation.
Aside from learning and interaction, under the arrangement of school, we visited famous scenes such as Oxford University, Cambridge University, London and Lincoln for sightseeing. This not only allowed us to gain knowledge in those campus, but also allowed us to experience the rich British culture through visiting famous sites.
On the graduation ceremony, teachers and students of our school; volunteers andstaffs from Lincoln University all attended. Students expressed their achievements and feelings during the summer school and shared their plans and goals.
At the end, Dr. Tasnim Munshi, Dean of the Chemistry Institute, confered the summer school graduation certificate to our school's teachers and students and also took a group photo as a souvenir.

This is my second time to come to UK, I feel excited and happy. During the two-weeks learning and cultural exchange，I gradually integrate into the local culture, embark on a journey of self-discovery to immerse in personal growth and development with my students.
I’m very thankful for the enthusiastic welcoming and entertainment by Lincoln.During the summer school,I get much information by communicating with my students, they feel satisfied and have gained a lot during this summer school. As a teacher, I will concern about my student’s progress and growth continuously.I think this trip is meaningful,teachers and students can get benefits from many aspects.I wish we can bond a better cooperation between Lincoln and have a more bright future!

Embarking on a summer journey to the Lincoln University in the UK was a transformative experience that enriched my academic horizons and broadened my cultural understanding. Through two weeks of study and practice, I learned a lot of new skills, experienced the fun of shopping with friends and enjoyed the rich cultural customs and natural sceneries. For my first time abroad, I think the trip was very meaningful and worthwhile.

This summer study visit is very meaningful. Through the experience of nearly half a month, I learned and saw not only many chemical experimental principles and surprising experimental phenomena, felt the difference between foreign education mode and domestic teaching, but also understood the living habits of foreign countries and experienced differences between China and Western cultures, which made me remember deeply. The UK, a country that I have always wanted to visit since my childhood. I am very excited to have received this chance. During the two weeks in the UK, as the team leader, I fulfilled my duties and helped teachers and classmates completing various tasks. I was also very happy to have learned a lot of practical laboratory knowledge and operation skills, as well as to have improved my oral english speaking skill. I will continue studing hard in the future and use my experiences from this summer school as motivation for myself.
