the Part We Play

It starts not with forgetting, but with understanding and redefining their place in our story….

In the ever-shifting sands of existence, life is a dance of moments, a play of light and shadow. We often find ourselves caught in the grip of memories, fears, and dreams, questioning our place within the vast expanse.

The journey is riddled with challenges, times when we feel fragile, doubting our own strength. Yet, with the passage of time, we come to realize our own resilience. It's not the absence of pain or the presence of constant joy that defines us, but our innate ability to endure, adapt, and grow. In the complexities of life, we discover that our true strength lies not in being invincible but in realizing we're unbreakable.

Alfred Adler posited, “Your unhappiness cannot be blamed on your past or your environment. And it isn’t that you lack competence. You just lack courage. One might say you are lacking in the courage to be happy.”

Life isn’t dictated by social constructs, it’s rather subjective. Just as we choose to define or label ourselves and situations. By assigning meanings to anything, are we creating or limiting?

So...

Through creation, regret, and the passing year;
Embrace each moment, yet remain unbowed,
For we’re more than the situations life’s allowed.

To live and to learn, with passion and grace,
Not defined by the storm, but our inner space.
In the dance of existence, rise above the fray,
Shaped not by the scene, but the part we play.
