On November 13, CORNEX signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Italian company Cestari Group in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. According to the agreement, the two sides will establish a pilot project of photovoltaic energy storage systems in Italy in the short term, using CORNEX's self-developed and manufactured 5MWh battery energy storage container CORNEX M5, and realize cooperation on 20GWh-30GWh energy storage projects within 3-5 years. The agreement was signed by Chen Qun, CORNEX's vice president of global marketing, and Giovanni Cestari, president of Cestari. Dai Deming, Chairman of CORNEX, and Eng. Alfredo C. Cestari, chairman of Cestari, attended the event and witnessed the signing.
The signing of this strategic cooperation agreement not only marks the beginning of a new chapter in joint efforts towards green energy development, but also represents another solid step for CORNEX in accelerating its overseas business expansion, effectively enhancing CORNEX's competitiveness in the European market and global energy storage market share. In the future, CORNEX will continue to focus on potential opportunities in the Italian and European markets to support Cestari's market business, including the potential for new projects and technology cooperation initiatives, as well as advancing the company's European business expansion. Under the agreement, Cestari will work to attract local automotive companies in Europe to cooperate with CORNEX in promoting the electrification process within the industry. In addition, the two sides will also actively promote cooperation in the field of localized manufacturing in the Italian market.
Cestari, a leader in the field of green circular economy, has consistently emphasized sustainable development, focusing on the conception, construction and investment of novel energy projects. It maintains a strong commitment to energy conservation and emission reduction, promoting sustainable energy globally, and establishing eco-sustainable factories. The initiation of this cooperation will foster industrial exchanges in a wider range of fields between the two entities.
