Large and complex construction projects involve significant investments and often face challenges such as cost overruns, time delays, and conflicting stakeholder interests. Ensuring value for money in these projects is crucial but also challenging. This presentation will provide a comprehensive overview of past studies on the value management approach, offering valuable insights for future research in this area for large and complex construction projects. Real projects from Hong Kong SAR are analyzed to examine the best practices of value management approaches in large and complex construction projects.
