The Ikarus B-12 V was a project of a Yugoslav twin jet engine fighter -interceptor airplane, designed in Yugoslavia 1954-1958. Prototype development was started at the Ikarus factory. An airplane model was made and tested in a wind tunnel in Sweden and in a water cavitation test at the Aerospace Technical Institute in Zarkovo. The project and the first prototype was made in Ikarus in Zemun since 1954 until 1958 under the leadership of Colonel Dragoljub Beslin. The creation of the prototype was stopped, with the decision of the Yugoslav Airforce.
