1月20日，我们迎来二十四节气中最后一个节气，大寒。作为年末最后一个节气，大寒过后，年味儿越来越浓。宜兴家家户户开始忙碌起来忙着腌制各种腊肠、腊肉；忙着除旧饰新、准备年货。

“熊猫Ya”来宜兴啦！
Rare birds spotted in Yixing
The rare spot-headed mergansers, also known as the "giant panda of ducks", have been spotted in Yixing recently. This kind of bird is a second-class national protected animal with strict requirements for its living environment, which earns them another nickname of the "ecological inspector". Their appearance also showcases the good ecological environment of the city.
近日，有“熊猫鸭”之称的斑头秋沙鸭现身宜兴。斑头秋沙鸭是国家二级保护动物，对生存环境的要求非常严格，因此也被称作大自然的“生态检验师”。“熊猫鸭”的出现也侧面印证了宜兴良好的生态环境。

Yixing Bamboo Sea Ski Resort drives local tourism
As the largest outdoor ski resort in southern Jiangsu province, the Yixing Bamboo Sea Ski Resort serves as one of the main drivers of local ice and snow tourism. With pre-sales commencing on Nov 15, 2024, it has already sold over 80,000 tickets, generating 13 million yuan ($1.79 million) in sales.
作为苏南地区规模最大的室外滑雪场，宜兴竹海滑雪场是当地冰雪旅游的“主力军”之一。自2024年11月15日开启预售以来，宜兴竹海滑雪场已售门票超8万张，销售额达1300万元。
